Visiting historical sites throughout Jordan

We stayed in this great hotel for two nights 9/10 Oct 2025. From the moment we entered the hotel until we left we were well looked after by the friendly staff and owners. The rooms were well equipped and comfortable. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the outside area at the rear of the hotel is ideal for evening snacks and drinks. great location to explore all Madaba has to offer on foot in addition to easy travel to sites of interest nearby such as the Dead Sea, Mount Nebo, Jerash and the Baptismal site of Jesus. Totally recommend this hotel extremely good nightly rates for such a great hotel. We felt very safe throughout our trip to Jordan.

Discreet

Hotel not far from the center but close to a small shopping center and many lively clubs in the evening. Hotel is nice , a small parking lot. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast room is the buffet dinner. Discreet both.

Excellent Madaba Hotel

This is such a wonderful hotel. The owners and staff are incredibly accommodating. The room are super clean and the beds are very comfortable. Food is very good. A great location. I much prefer staying in Madaba when I fly in. Highly recommend the Black Iris.

Absolutely amazing!
We’re at the Black Iris 2 for 4 days.
Very friendly staff, helpful and always ready to serve you with a big smile.
Super clean rooms, and VERY VERY delicious food
If you’re visiting Madaba, it’s the place to stay
