Fantastic staff, food delicious

We stayed for two days and nights. The staff was absolutely fantastic. I’m part of a cycling event which was why we visited and they couldn’t have been more helpful. The food was also so delicious. I wish I could’ve stayed longer.

I EXPECTED BETTER

I stayed only two nights in this 'hotel booked by my tour operator, but I found it lower than expected. Upon arrival, I was given a tiny and claustrophobic room, which gave to an interior garden, very poorly maintained, with an extremely small bathroom (will have been 2x2) plus side tub and uncomfortable toilet, behind the door. Faulty the power of the air conditioner .. after a while 'I realized that the minibar did not work because they had forgotten to connect it. Being a bit out of the way, I asked for dinner, but was told that dinner was reserved only for those on half board. I made it clear that I would pay the difference and then they told me that they made an exception and that I would have to pay 11 jr with no choice option on the menu. I mean, I thought better, from the pictures. Good breakfast. Apart from the young lady of the first evening, a South American who spoke Italian and was available, the rest of the staff, very cold... if I were to return to Petra independently, I would choose another hotel, even closer to the site with a more comfortable room.

Please note that a 2m × 2m bathroom is standard for a single room. The room view and size can be adjusted upon request, and our staff will gladly accommodate such changes. Air conditioning works well, and our 24-hour front desk is always available to assist with any issues. The minibar is for your personal use and needs to be switched on. Regarding dinner, the price is standard for the variety of dishes offered.
We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future and provide a more comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Breakfast was good

Staff is friedly but the price seemed to be high for a cold room. Also needs renovation.

Cycle Group stay

Stayed here during a recent cycle challenge www.lifecycle foundation.com with a group of 25. The hotel is on the hill leading down through the town and only 5 minutes from Petra. Hospitality was what was most noticeable with staff willing to go that extra to satisfy your needs. Rooms clean and comfortable and the food was truly delicious both at breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended.
