Great hotel and great vacation

We came to Almaty with our husband to celebrate their wedding anniversary and go skiing. The hotel pleasantly surprised me, clean, cozy, excellent breakfasts for all tastes, kind and clean rooms, friendly staff. At the spa, Violet's girlfriend was always friendly and helpful. There are spa treatments, massages, Shinar masseuse liked. The pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and hamam are clean and there are not many people. After skiing, you want to warm up and relax and the hotel is completely suitable for this. Very conveniently just two stops to the cant road, bus 12 runs frequently, no need to call a taxi. There's also a restaurant, but we didn't visit it, we went into town. Slippers, bathrobes, soap utensils.
I wish the hotel well, so keep it up!
Next time we'll bring the kids.

Very professional massage, a beautiful swimming pool, sauna and steam room

Cleanest 4+ star room with a variety of Kazak, Uzbek, and Asian food with a beautiful atmosphere. The beds were very comfortable and had warm duvets. The dinning room is located on mountain road which is about 5 min. to ski hill and 5 min. to downtown Almaty. In addition, the spa offers a variety of treatments and has 2 saunas and a swimming pool. Highly recommend the massages!

Best bang for the buck

This hotel is in the smaller Almaty gorge, closer to the skating rink Medeu than to Almaty. Clean air, nice surroundings and a lot of hiking, if you wish. The amenities are excellent. There is an indoor pool with a steam room and sauna. We paid $105 a day. In more crowded tourist places you can't have something like this for less than $200-$300. The restaurant on the fifth floor has a poor menu. Go straight to the neighboring Samal restaurant (the owner is the same). Both restaurants have canaries singing all the time. The prices are on the high side. Two meals for two can easily cost you a stay at the hotel.

Good

This hotel is good. Comfortable rooms, SPA and close to Medeu(about 1 kilometre). I stayed there 4 nights and travel into the mountanis every morning. There is a friendly stuff inthe SPA. However only one English TV channel and pork meat on the breakfast. I asked administration to exclude pork from swedish table several times. Unforunately my requests were not heard. It was a blot on the landscape.
