Unforgettable experience, exceptional treatment
A beautiful hotel and an unbeatable experience. Family trip with three young children and everything was perfect. The garden, the pool area, and the beach are simply spectacular. The staff, very friendly and attentive at all times. The decor is beautiful, very well-maintained and authentic.
Apart from the monkeys, there is also an area with turtles.
We want to especially thank the manager, Pamela, for her great help and dedication. Her attention went far beyond what was expected. Don't miss dinner in the pool and beach area!

Fantastic venue
We booked the Pinewood Beach for some RnR following 2 weeks of intensive Safaris in Tanzania and Kenya and it was the best decision ever made. This is an exceptionally professionally run hotel under the friendly eye of Pamela the manageress. The beach side location on an almost deserted beach is idyllic and the rooms are spacious and well appointed
But it is the staff who make this venue. Happy, smiling and helpful throughout nothing is ever too much trouble for them
The level of food and beverage training is of the highest order resulting in excellent waiter service and high quality food prepared by chefs in pristine whites.
This is a fantastic place to chill out either on the beach or by the pool

Lovely hotel with a good and peaceful atmosphere
We spent five nights at Pinewood Beach Resort & Spa after being on a week's safari. The hotel is peacefully located with direct access to the beautiful beach. Suitable large, nice and spacious rooms, beautiful planting, nice pool, delicious food and unusually pleasant service. Recommended!

Amazing experience
Our family of four recently had the pleasure of staying at Pinewood Beach Resort in Mombasa (Rooms 171 & 172), and we can honestly say it was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable holidays we've ever had.
From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. Every single member of staff greeted us with genuine warmth and kindness, always smiling and going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The level of hospitality throughout our stay was exceptional, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble.
The food deserves a very special mention. Every meal was outstanding, with a fantastic variety of fresh, beautifully prepared dishes to suit everyone in our family. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the quality and presentation were consistently excellent. A huge thank you to the incredibly talented chefs and the entire restaurant team for their hard work and dedication. It was clear how much care and passion goes into every meal, and it made dining at the resort one of the highlights of our holiday.
Housekeeping was absolutely immaculate. Our rooms were cleaned to an exceptionally high standard every day, and we were always impressed by the attention to detail. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job of ensuring everything was spotless and comfortable throughout our stay, allowing us to completely relax.
The resort itself is beautifully maintained. The cleanliness across the entire property is second to none, from the pathways and pool areas to the beach and communal spaces. The gardens are simply stunning, and it is obvious how much pride the gardening team takes in their work. Every flower bed, lawn, and palm tree is meticulously cared for, creating a peaceful tropical setting that is both beautiful and relaxing.
A very special thank you goes to Calab, the superb bartender, who truly made our holiday unforgettable. His professionalism, kindness, and friendly personality were unmatched. He always welcomed us with a smile, remembered our favourite drinks, and took the time to chat with us, making every visit to the bar a pleasure. His exceptional customer service and genuine care for guests are a real credit to Pinewood Beach Resort, and he played a huge part in making our family holiday so special.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Resort Manager, Pamala, whose leadership is clearly reflected throughout the resort. The exceptional standards, friendly atmosphere, and seamless organisation of the hotel are a testament to her and her wonderful team. A pleasant stay by a magnificent beach
The Pinewood Beach is a medium-sized hotel with a very beautiful beach. The food is good and the service is attentive. Some facilities are, however, a bit aging and there is a lack of entertainment, especially in the evening. Overall, a pleasant and relaxing stay.
