A bit of Africa

The property is a camp; we were assigned tents very far from the restaurant area and perhaps the oldest ones, but the review is absolutely positive because it was the only accommodation where we truly experienced a little bit of Africa. It is not luxurious, it is not new, the bathroom is what it is, but that was the beautiful side of the stay. Ate very well at the buffet. No electronic payments. Very close to the Masai Mara gate

Horrible hotel do not visit.

Hello!! Avoid this hotel at all costs. The worst experience. Horrible hotel that promotes fake amenities and in reality has dreadful facilities, food, and service.
I was here with some friends and the moment we arrived wanted a refund because of how bad it was. Rooms full with mosquitoes and bugs because the tents have holes and can’t be closed completely. Food is dreadful and unhygienic, could not eat it. There was nothing else to eat at the hotel, no kitchen, no menu, no nothing. Nobody could eat at anytime except for the time they set, service was still active and they said that they couldn’t give any food.
There is no water and electricity at all times, it comes and goes to their convenience. I went to bed late and couldn’t shower or brush teeth. When I approached the service they said tomorrow at 5 AM it will work.
Service is not helpful and not nice, also the bar is extremely overpriced and there is no wifi at the hotel.

Very good

A tent camp just outside the Masai Mara reserve, we stayed two nights and were greeted by Alan.
Alan was always helpful and attentive to our needs, we were prepared breakfast lunch and dinner.
A trend camp surrounded by nature, clean but with obvious possibilities of pets around.
The bathroom was not the best but you have to adapt.
On the other hand the common area is gorgeous with super views! Sofas and bars, with also evening masai show!

Terrible place, lodges in decay, not to be advised

We stayed here for 2 nights, that was 2 too many. The site is heavily in decay and should be invested in to make it acceptable again. Lots of lodges are not useable anymore, we had tented lodges where things looked not-taken-care of, zips that don’t work, dirty toilet, toilet leaking water, ceiling almost comming down, electricity falling out of the wall etc. No wifi. The food was OK but there was no choice in what to eat.
The only positive thing is that it’s located near an entrance gate of masai mara. But to get there you have to ride a bumpy road through a small village with dirt on the ground all around….
We we not advise anyone to book this place.

Cold water, no power, dreadful food.

The camp is ok. Rooms are fine. No frills, but you can sleep in them. They said you would get hot water if you turned on the switch but it never came - we also asked others, they didn't get any either. The power works with generator for a couple if hours morning and 3v3ning. No possibility to charge two phones and cameras. Food was awful. But the biggest joke was the 'packed lunch' they gave. If you're ok with cold water and no power it's fine to stay here but take your own food -especially if you're going on safari.
