A Beautiful Malindi Escape Worth Recommending

My stay at Exploreans Beach Club & Villas Watamu was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel completely at home. The teamwas incredibly welcoming, and everyone—from the cooks and room service team to the entire staff—was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help.
What made the experience even more special was how they went above and beyond to make my birthday truly memorable. The entire team made me feel like I was part of the family. They took me to their sister hotel to celebrate my birthday, and honestly, it was such a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot to me. It’s a birthday experience I will always remember and cherish.
And the food! The meals were amazing, especially the lunch by the beach. There’s something special about enjoying great food while taking in the beautiful coastal scenery.
I also loved how serene and peaceful the place is. It’s away from the noise and gives you the perfect environment to slow down, relax, and just enjoy yourself.
The hospitality, the food, the beautiful surroundings, and most importantly, the people made this stay incredibly special. I’ll definitely be going back—hopefully, hopefully soon!

Amazing ambience, quite and serene with beautiful beach and customer service

It's a long drive but once you get there you'll realise the drive was worth it, with its secluded and less congested beach that is beautiful.. Rooms were okay, customer service was amazing. Aude, Victor, Daniella and the rest...it was clean always which we appreciated, the pool was soo nice and always clean. The Amenities were okay for our family and it wasn't noisy we slept peacefully

Overall Great Experience

We were there for two nights, and had an overall great experience.
The staff are very friendly, ready to help, quick to support and approachable.
Our environment was clean - the rooms, sitting area and general surrounding area.
The villa has a common sitting area, within and outside the villa.
With respect to the food, we appreciated the fresh fruit and fresh fruit juice.
We also appreciated the chef's food - We had expertly made lobster and chicken grill.
In terms of considers, I would recommend adding a TV into the villa, and egg options to the breakfast menu.
For those planning to visit, bear in mind that it is far removed from the town area, so you should plan to purchase all things in town before heading to the hotel/air bnb.

Wonderful.

Place of incredible beauty, the staff of Malaika fantastic, offer a treatment of true relaxation, with welcome cocktails and delicious food. The sea is fascinating and beautiful with the changing tide always offering an incredible view.
