This is my second stay at this hotel. The beachfront location is ideal, with plenty of seating and lounging area to take in the ocean view. Though not necessarily modern, the rooms have a classic elegance about them. The staff is friendly and helpful. The evening mosquito net service is a nice amenity.

Awesome resort and Managing

I stayed in Kilili during the essence of africa Expo, it was a wonderful experience to experience such a relaxing atmosphere!! They also hosted the welcoming party, it was incredibly well organised with every detail in order!!

KILILI BAHARINI Resort the most disgusting owner in Malindi

Be cautious when visiting Kilili Baharini Hotel.
During my recent visit, the owner behaved in an inappropriate and disrespectful manner toward my Black girlfriend, repeatedly asking staff to get her phone number. His actions were intrusive and offensive. It was disappointing to witness such behavior, which came across as discriminatory and unprofessional. I share this to caution others and encourage the management to uphold higher standards of respect and integrity.

Exceptional restaurant

This hotel offers very nice amenities: we had a suite by the pool, it was gigantic (a little dark), furnished and decorated with local products (big wooden beds). The bathroom is a bit old but it was local!
As throughout our stay in Kenya, we found the staff great.
What we liked most about this hotel was the food that is really exceptional in taste (and quantity too!). We took full board and we did well.
The private beach is beautiful, with palm trees and fine sand. It overlooks the public beach of Watamu which is also beautiful (less touristy than Diani).
On the other hand, perhaps due to the low season, almost no tourists during our 3 nights there (only a few business clients).

Amazing holiday!

I returned in January 2025 after a few years of absence. I stayed in the new rooms and found a renovated resort while maintaining an elegant and comfortable environment. As always, the staff was friendly, the services punctual and precise and the kitchen was reconfirmed of a high standard. In continuity with the past, I found great attention to the well-being of guests and their safety. Also this time my expectations were more than widely met...... I can not wait to go back!
