My experience at Turtle Bay
We stayed at this resort during the summer and we can say without hesitation that it was a wonderful experience from every point of view.
The rooms were perfect: spacious, spotless, comfortable, and cared for down to the smallest detail. We felt right at home immediately.
The food was a real strong point: abundant, of excellent quality, and always varied. Every meal was a pleasure, with tasty options that were able to satisfy all tastes.
The resort itself is beautiful: well-organized, well-maintained, with pleasant environments and a relaxing atmosphere. But what made everything even more special was the staff: courteous, attentive, and always available. You can really feel that they work with passion and that they care about the well-being of the guests.
A special thanks goes to our guide MANGIAFUOCO, a real gem, along with his other collaborators BONGO and COLLOBASSO, who were also equally extraordinary.

He organized a lot of excursions for us, each one more beautiful than the last, and he let us experience Africa in a complete and authentic way, exactly as we desired. Thanks to him, we experienced unforgettable moments and were able to discover places and situations that we could never have reached on our own.
The people we met here were wonderful: guests and staff, all with positive energy and a warm welcome. One can truly speak of “golden people.”

Basic
Only good thing was the pool, friendliness of the staff abd some entertainment.
Our room was a top sea view room. However it was basic and right next to the kids play area so shouting and noise of balks clattering was loud. Food wasn’t brilliant just basic one day for breakfast there was bacon the next sausage you never got both together little protein lots of carbs. The All inclusive drinks were dire served in tumblers !!!!the beach is pebbles

Amazing stay for you holiday in Watamu!
We had a wonderful stay at Turtle Bay Beach Resort and really enjoyed our experience.
The rooms are a little dated, but they are comfortable, clean and have everything you need, including air conditioning and a TV. We stayed in rooms with a small balcony overlooking the garden, which was very pleasant and peaceful. Towels and bed linen were changed every day.
The resort has large, clean swimming pools and a lovely private beach area. Throughout the day, you can order food and drinks by the pools or at the beach, all included in the all-inclusive package.
The food was delicious, with a wide variety of options at every meal. My boyfriend is vegetarian and he always found options to choose from. On alternate evenings, the resort organises themed nights, with the menu changing to match the theme, which was a really nice touch. There is also a massage area, perfect for relaxing.
There are plenty of activities during the day, including entertainment for children. In the evening, from around 9 pm the resort organises small shows, followed by music and a DJ, creating a lovely atmosphere.
What truly made our stay special, however, was the amazing staff. My parents contacted the resort from abroad to arrange a surprise for my 30th birthday, and everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. I found a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a lovely card waiting for me! It was such a thoughtful surprise that I will always remember.
A huge thank you to the whole team, with a special mention and a heartfelt asante sana to John, who prepared the omelettes; Michael, our wonderful waiter; the fantastic Tony at reception; and Hamisi at the fruit station. Your kindness and smiles made our time in Kenya even more special.
We would happily return and definitely recommend Turtle Bay to anyone visiting Watamu!

Vacation in Watamu in August
It is located in a central and strategic area for those staying in the Sardegna 2 area.
You can also reach Garoda beach on foot with about forty minutes on the beach.
Unfortunately, in the month of August, tons of posidonia wash up on the beach, so the actual beach is inaccessible and the resort's beach overlooks brown expanses.
Very strong monsoon wind blows, so we recommend staying in the pools when high tide begins so as not to encounter really strong and stunning gusts.
MEALS:
well-prepared and varied. Watch out for the garlic if you have a sensitive stomach, because they put tons of it in everything! Always ask where it is and where it isn't.
CLEANLINESS/COMFORT: the rooms are very old, but they are kept well. Unfortunately, I had a bed that formed a C shape, with the feet and head sagging and a pillow that caused incredible neck pain.
The shower is in the bathtub and you need to be careful with the very old faucets for splinters or significant limescale deposits.
MASSAGES: I recommend Winnie. Fantastic massages, she is truly talented.
COFFEE: if you are Italian and coffee addicted like us… don't drink it, unless you pay for it from the machine, which is similar to our Italian one. ( about 400 shillings )
STAFF: they always smile and are extraordinarily willing to help make you feel comfortable. We were assisted by Simon at the reception and he was extremely professional as well as fantastic.
CURRENCY EXCHANGE: not at the resort. It is not favorable at all. Always go outside, and if you happen to meet Italians living there, they exchange at the daily rate on the app. Honest and truly helpful.

Good all-inclusive solution
The rooms are a bit dated but those with an ocean view have a spectacular view. Sun loungers available on the beach. Very good food. Overall an excellent solution at affordable prices.
