Amazing budget hotel in heart of Nairobi

When I booked the reservation, I had some qualms. Mainly because the price was so reasonable, I feared that the room would be inadequate. But the previous reviews made me decide to give it a shot. I can honestly say this is the best, most reasonably priced, budget hotel I have ever booked. The staff are amazing! They are so courteous and helpful. They arranged airport pickup for me at a reasonable price. It was so reassuring after an 18 hour flight to see the driver with my name on a placard waiting for me. The room was immaculate. Housekeepers cleaned daily, replacing towels, sheets, and even soap bars. A restaurant is onsite serving breakfast and dinner -- all very reasonable priced. I save the best for last: reliable internet. It was reliable and sufficient for my needs. (I could even watch YouTube videos without buffering.) My only issue -- and this is minor -- is that sometimes the water was not as hot as I would like. I think the system is solar, and given the bad (overcast) weather, this affected the water temperature. Also, the pressure was sometimes low. (I mentioned this to the staff and they did something to adjust that.) I would return to this hotel in a heartbeat if I return to Nairobi.

Worst experience ever

BE AWARE and stay away from this hotel. The worst place you can imagine to spend your money. I got assigned the wrong room with torn beddings , cold shower and a washroom that was non-functional. Upon checking in I went straight to the reception and explained the situation. Long story short the manager pleaded I stay and he would sort things out and give my refund . He seemed pleasant enough to be trusted but, on my check out he bailed out on me and would not respond to my calls. Thankfully I used Mastercard and took lots of photos for proof. Never going there again. STAY AWAY.

Very bad Experience, not recommended

I paid for laundry and my iron, but it was only washed and without an iron.
I informed the reception, but they were annoyed by my request and asked me when you would leave from here.
I told them, if you are upset, give me the iron and I will do this myself without thinking or responding. The person in charge here came. By giving me the iron,
this is very sad

Comfortable hotel and excellent value for money

Really impressed with this hotel, tucked away in a quiet street, which we stayed in the night before returning to the UK. A very clean and comfortable room and good food and service in the pleasantly-presented restaurant. The site is gated and there is a night porter. Asante sana - we will be back next year.
(Guests be aware that there are two long flights of steps to negotiate.)

Excellent Stay at Kahama Hotel Nairobi B&B

My stay at Kahama Hotel Nairobi's Bed and Breakfast was exceptional. The rooms were cozy and well-appointed, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was delicious, and the facilities, including the fitness center and outdoor terrace, were top-notch. Overall, excellent value for money. Highly recommend for a comfortable stay in Nairobi.
