BUSINESS.

Magna hotel and suites is located a long UN Crescent road. It is on of my favorite hidden gem in Nairobi. The hotel have great conference facilities. It is very close to US embassy. The staff are really friendly and very hospitable. I really recommend Magna hotel and suites to any person planning to visit Nairobi.

Close to the UN. Did not have a time to try it’s gym

It’s located near the UN Nairobi campus. The other side of the street has the Village Market including CarreFour and food court. The internet was fast enough. The water pressure of the shower was good but the water temperature was low. Two days out of six days I had to take cold shower, though not too bad. Would I come back? I will check other hotels at the similar price range first.

Was good? Now slow and gloomy

Was probably a good hotel a few years ago. Big rooms and clean. But no maintenance, so no internet, no phone, and no people in the restaurant which closes at 8pm. No effort to fix things. The overall feeling is a bit gloomy and old fashioned, and it’s certainly overprised compared to hotels nearby like Trademark. Good location for Gigiri visits. Magna could have been so much better with a little pride and effort, but they seem to have given up.

Customer service beyond compare!

I stayed at the Magna Suites Nairobi for five days, six nights in February 2020 for a work trip. The hotel is conveniently located near Village Market Mall, and was within easy distance of professional meetings.
I always felt safe at the hotel, they have professional security colleagues in place.
The staff were always very accommodating, even when my partner arrived at 5:00 AM, they helped us check in and assisted with our luggage, as well as called us to make sure that we didn't miss breakfast.
The dining room staff were a particular highlight. Michael's food was always delicious, and he learned what my partner and I liked to eat.
Hilda's baked goods were a treat.
Kennedy learned our habits, where we liked to eat, how we liked our coffee, and always made us feel comfortable and attended too during our stay.
They are all excellent professionals, and if I'm ever lucky enough to return to Nairobi, I wouldn't hesitate to book another stay.

Good services for private meetings

I had a business meeting at the hotel and I enjoyed their services. They have good rooms for small meetings and their food is top notch. They consider both meat lovers and vegeterians. I enjoyed the variety of meals they offer and the stuff are willing to help and welcoming.
