Beautiful Grounds and Summer Camp Vibes for Grown Ups

We stayed here while doing a Habitat for Humanity build outside of NanYuki. I was not expecting to be at such a special/quaint place for the week. We stayed in the cottages and had an abundance of space. The staff is very accommodating. Mr. G went out of his way to make sure that everyone had what they needed and he even had a special cake made for one of our final nights to celebrate the work we did on the build. He also set up a bonfire for us one night down by the river so we could have drinks and talk around the fire. There is a cute rustic bar and TONS of cute areas with tables to sit and have a drink, eat, play cards and hang out. The Old House was a very special place and the pictures don’t do it justice. We had a wonderful stay!

Nice hotel in Nanyuki - clean rooms, good food and friendly staff!

We had a great time at The Old House and felt very well looked after! The rooms are simple but clean and spacious. There is a nice garden and nice seating. The food was delicious and authentic and the staff very helpful and friendly. The WLAN stability is being worked on ;-), but has only not worked in between.

Very welcoming stay in the old house!

Lovely stay at the old house in Nanyuki. Mr G and his wife are very cordial, welcoming people. They are always there for you. There is a beautiful garden. The restaurant and bar have cosy seating areas throughout. Highly recommended!

Very good value for money / special friendly host

We spent 1 week here with friends on business. Located in a beautiful park with numerous seating. From my point of view a very good price/performance ratio. Simple but always clean rooms. Shampoo, water etc. was always available. The staff was always courteous and friendly.

Hidden gem on the equator

We stayed there with 7 couple for a week. Its a really nice place with several building spead over a nice garden next to a river. In the garden you come across nice birds and animals. Mr G proved to he a great host, helpful and surprising us several times adding to the experience. His sister Flor provided us with nice food every evening
The rooms are basic but clean and cleaned daily
Since our stay they also make you a fried egg
