We didn't want to leave!

We loved our stay so much that we extended it one extra night! The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed to do some simple cooking. The pool was the perfect place to relax, and the staff was responsive and helpful. Highly recommend for a Watamu trip.

Owner extorted and blackmailed us out of money knowingly.
We paid 10,000KES for Lunch and Dinner at the Kisawa residence. When we arrived, there was no lunch or dinner. When we messaged the owner, Simone, he personally said that there was no lunch or dinner at all. Subsequently, we asked for our money back. To this Simone, the owner, promptly said “no”. He then proceeded to the extort (blackmail) us, forcing us to leave positive reviews on the hotel and ONLY after doing that we could have 5000kes. It sounded like something out of a bad mafia movie “you have 60 minutes to do this unless you won’t get your money,” citing Simone, the owner. We never got our other 5000Kes back, even after begging. Absolutely insane service. Literal crime. Do not stay here.

The house was nice, we had a nice patio along that we could use to play games and have a nice lunch.
