A decent standard hotel. We stayed here for a couple of nights on a tour of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Rooms were clean, reasonably furnished and the hotel is quiet and very well located, only a short walk from Bishkek’s City Centre. Plenty of restaurants nearby too.
Breakfast wasn’t the most elaborate but there was plenty, even if eggs had been cooked quite a bit earlier.
We enjoyed the pool as somewhere to cool off on a hot day.
Staff were all helpful and friendly.
A good place to stay.

A real let down

This was the final hotel on our tour of the 5 Stans and proved to be the only one that was substandard.
Centrally located, but hidden off a main road, the hotel is dark upon entry and the rooms are even more so. They are well equipped with fridge, air-conditioning, safe and tv, but the first two in particular gave off so much noise they had to be switched off.
Despite being there for 2 days, there was no sign of any cleaning between and the general environment was in need of a clean up.
The biggest disappointment was reserved for the breakfast though. Here there was limited choice and what there was seemed to be all sugary cakes and cereals - a real let down.

Near to city, but pool was dry!

Nice, friendly hotel with a lovely roof terrace and gym attached. The pool was dry when I was there and it was 90 degrees, so missed having that. Also went for dinner and no sign of it after being told it was swerved from 8-9. Other than that staff friendly and rooms are fine. Good shower. Very soviet feel to the place and maybe needs a bit of updating but near the city and a small shopping centre over the road.

The breakfast is quite good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. You can get a local SIM card from the desk for all of $3
It's not far from things but hardly close. Not much in the immediate area at all. Wifi was patchy. The building is very Soviet era, and not in a good way. Room was cramped. They are doing footpath work in the whole neighbourhood so only gravel uneven paths to get anywhere

For one night, passing through - ok

The air conditioner in the room is installed in such a way that it fits directly into the headboards of the beds, although it could have been installed between the beds and the bathroom. It's noisy outside, but this is a city hotel. Slippers, teeth cleaning kit, kettle and tea available. The refrigerator in the room worked terribly - with a terrible sound, as if planes were taking off and landing, but it did not freeze much. I turned it off in the middle of the night because it was impossible to sleep. There is a swimming pool - I'm not sure if it is cleaned often, but in the heat you can take a dip once. The bathroom has a curtain, not a shower. It seemed to me that this was more of a harsh men's hotel. Breakfast is not bad, several types of pastries, porridge, fruit and hot dishes. On the same street, about 400 meters away, there is another hotel - I liked this one better. But at night, if you don’t turn on the refrigerator, it’s ok)
