You get what you pay for…

This hotel looks nice in pictures but is very dated inside. The rooms were clean but our shower drain was clogged and smelled bad. The screaming Chinese tour groups staying there made everything noisy. If you are traveling on a budget and want to stay downtown, this is fine.

Mid-range option

Pretty good location on a street that isn't too busy. A couple blocks from night market and river. Nice sunset view from roof, good place for BYO happy hour. Decent breakfast, though the coffee maker can't keep up with the number of guests some days. Pool too small for lap swimming. A lot of smokers hang out at poolside which is irritating. Getting towels for the pool was at times a hassle. Bikes provided by hotel were in bad shape and brakes on 4/5 didn't work. Room pretty spacious but having only one chair was odd. Bed hard as a rock.

Centrally located in Vang Vieng, Good sized roonms, good breakfast, clean! Everything walkable.
