Great hotel, skip breakfast

Good location, very friendly and helpfull staff. No elevator in our building, but for us that was no problem. Big clean room, lovely bed. View not so nice (other building). Also in the evening cooking smells from the adjacent hamburger restaurant would waft into our room...not so pleasant.
Breakfast we really did not like: it was held in a restaurant next to the hotel. Yes there was quite a lot of choice, but the orange juice was watery, there was factory bread, and the coffee was weak and tasteless, with powdered milk, ugh. It was extremely crowded, and everywhere there were huge screens with fast-paced movies of cooks preparing drinks and dinner.
I really do not want to see huge slabs of greasy meat and lots of charred food while I am eating my breakfast.
I would prefer a more peaceful atmosphere in the morning.

A wonderful place to stay

A beautiful, elegant hotel in a perfect location. The rooms were spotless, the atmosphere was refined, and every detail was well maintained. A wonderful place to stay— we will happily return.

Excellent hotel & location & staff! Breakfast very standard however

Excellent location and hotel. For the price, breakfast should be included also because the breakfast was standard.

Beautiful hotel in a great location

Beautiful hotel and spacious hotel room. Great location in the Riga old town. Friendly service. The room was not entirely sound proof but it didn’t bother us that much. The breakfast did not have a very wide selection.
