Great solution...

I didn't have high expectations about this hotel but I have to change my mind because it was actually a great choice for our last night in Riga, having the flight early in the morning we preferred to be near the airport and avoid moving in the middle of the night. It is just a short walk from the airport. From the outside it doesn't look much but once you enter there is the lobby with reception, welcoming and courteous staff. We were given the ground floor room with two single beds with private bathroom without breakfast at the price of €49.00 total booked on Booking. The small room with large window, two single beds quite comfortable, fridge, TV, wardrobe, working wi-fi. The small bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, towels and hairdryer. Clean and warm room. It 'was a great solution for the price.

Only plus is the proximity to airport. Ideal for early morning flights. On the inside, it is pretty spartan, but it would be fine.
I am taking out 2 stars for the shower. Once I turned it on, I got hit by the smell of rotten eggs. I had to splash myself with the water from the bottle. Only more disgusting hotel I experienced was in Nice.
Breakfast is good, but the woman serving it needs a class in hospitality. I have not experienced such service since very early 2000s. I mean, you won't find such insane "buffetchitsa" in Russia. She read me a lecture at sitting at the wrong table. [Restairant was empty, btw].
Since I have no desire/plans to return to Riga in the next decade, prpbably wont be staying there again.

Great, clean room for one night super close to the airport, it was really easy checkout and spacious room.

Friendly check in. We loved the bathroom towels! It's not fancy but we just needed a comfortable bed, which it had.
