lovely Hotel in a great area
This is a lovely hotel in a great location, just a couple of minutes’ walk from the Old Town.There is tram and bus stop right outside the hotel.Check-in was quick and easy, and we stayed in a Superior Double Room on the sixth floor. The room was very spacious and well equipped, with a comfortable bed, a good shower, a kettle, coffee maker, microwave, and a safe.
The breakfast selection was excellent, with a wide variety of both hot and cold options. Fresh eggs and pancakes are prepared while you wait, and there is plenty of tea, coffee, juices, and cakes. There is more than enough choice to suit everyone.
We booked a private spa, which cost €55 for 90 minutes and you have exclusive use of the facilitie which includes the jacuzzi, relaxation area and sauna.
Overall an enjoyable stay.
The breakfast selection was excellent, with a wide variety of both hot and cold options. Fresh eggs and pancakes are prepared while you wait, and there is plenty of tea, coffee, juices, and cakes. There is more than enough choice to suit everyone.

Choose another hotel!
The location is superb next to old Riga. The room lacks nothing, there is a microwave and refrigerator and kettle. Unfortunately no mattresses which will not be comfortable for us. A pile of clothes in front of the bed is something to notice when getting out of bed. Warm room but there is AC. Area rug in the room. The breakfast was good but the venue is not pleasant, more like a school cafeteria with loud noises. The gluten-free bread was full of mold and nothing new could be offered. Strange that they don't check if everything is okay!
The extra good service-mindedness at the hotel was a bright guy at the reception but also the breakfast staff! I do NOT agree with the positive reviews left about the hotel and that decided we booked here. We are not coming back!

Until this stay, we were returning guests at this hotel.
We wanted to book our stay directly with the hotel, but we decided against it because they offered excessive rates. Consequently, we booked a room with riverside view and spa access via Check 24. The disaster began at check-in. The overwhelmed-looking receptionist claimed, despite our reservation confirmation, that we had booked a standard room without riverside view and spa access. As a result, we were given a hole of a room with a window that could not be opened. A broken bathroom door/mold in the bathroom. The view was of a ruin instead of the river. I complained in writing and only received compensation from the tour operator. The hotel shifted the blame onto the tour operator. The lady acting as Front Office Manager provided very poor customer service. This place will never see us again, and I can only strongly advise against booking here.

Our first experience of Latvian hospitality
This was our first time in Latvia, from the airport we took bus #22 and within thirty minutes we had arrived near the city centre with a brief walk to the hotel, check-in was smooth and staff were welcoming. Our assigned room was in the building fortunately behind the main building which is on the busy riverside road, our room was spacious, spotless, quiet and comfortable over our three night stay. The room amenities included block out curtains, a microwave, electric jug with tea/coffee, coffee pod machine and an iron. The bed and pillows were comfortable, controls for the air-conditioning and Youtube on TV. Doors closing and guests talking in the corridor could occasionally be heard.
Breakfast was served in a large canteen style room with a variety of long communal tables and tables for two to four people. There was a comprehensive selection of food and drinks including sparkling wine, hot and cold dishes, it was surprising to see Kimchi and other Korean pickles on the buffet. Omelettes and fried eggs could be ordered on demand. Dining room staff were very prompt at cleaning away dirty dishes. House keeping is available on request but we found they attended after two nights anyway which was much appreciated.
The hotel was well located on the edge of the town for exploring beautiful Riga, and handy to cafes and bars, museums and the train station.

Excellent comfortable stay
Excellent place to stay in Riga. The check in process was smooth and excellent communication by staff; separate thanks to Artjoms! The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Riga and walking in Old Town. All the nice attractions are near by. The staff is great at all levels of the service with immediate attention whenever required. The breakfast is very good with nice variety of food for all tastes. The Spa is nice but even more I liked the message - good quality. With the 2-week stay, we were kindly offered a room upgrade on the second week with the nice view on the river. I couldn’t expect more from the service and we will definitely stay here again while visiting Riga. Highly recommend. Thank you to all staff for all your hard work making our stay so comfortable!
