Best resort in the middle east

very nice resort that offers different types of actives. It is open all year log and has different entertainment depending on the season. It is very ell maintained and clean. It has also a ski resort with different levels of slopes.

Not recommended

i wouldn't recommend it to anyone except if they would like to pay hidden fees more than the accommodation itself. i don't understand how the top management would keep such managers and front desk running that place. they don't care about customers or giving a good service. they don't even bother to serve customers the way you expect from a hospitality industry. the only thing on their mind is to make more money. incompetent staff and management, poor service and hungry for money.

Not as excepted at all

We stayed one night with my wife and our kids.
We experienced the below bad services:
1- When arrived in our car at the hotel main entrance, no one from the staff was available to carry the luggage. We didn’t know where to park the car or even where to enter. Knowing that the hotel is a 5* as claimed.
2- We were shocked knowing that the kitchen service starts at 8:00pm. There is not even any snack for kids until 8:00pm! The hotel staff should have noticed us before arriving to the hotel.
3- Rooms were cold and no one from the hotel staff even tried to turn on the heaters as many times asked.
4- No one from the staff was available at The main security gate at night; we had to wait until someone opens!
5- the dinner was very poor comparing to the room rate (400$); and alcohol was charged separately!
6- The majority of hotel staff lacks professionalism in communicating with the visitors.
Generally, the room price was much over rated comparing the poor services.

Enjoyed the greenery but disappointed with the buffet and service

Went there with the family, chose it for its outdoor large green space, its high altitude location. This was met, we enjoyed the space. The light breeze, green grass make it perfect for a family outing on a hot summer day.
But what was disappointing was the overpriced buffet. We paid 50 dollars per person to end up eating barely nothing. The food choice is limited. Although some hot dishes and the barbecue tasted well, the salads tabboule were not fresh at all. What made the experience worse is the hygienic part where flies were all over the dishes which is a major concern and which made many family members not able to eat even one dish. Although kids are charged 37 dollars, there is no kids corner on the buffet. There was no guidance or supervision on how people were choosing their portions from the dishes. Some people were tasting from the dish which made it even worse.
With 50 dollars per adult and 37 dollars per child, the buffet can be super rich and more importantly hygienic ( many ways to control the flies which are expected in outdoors). The place is great for a picnic and if the above not improved definitely won’t visit again and won’t recommend it.

Nice Experience

I stayed at the hotel for one night in July because I was attending my friend's wedding there. The room was comfortable, although a bit old, it still matched the overall aesthetic of the hotel. The check-in and check-out process were very easy. The hotel grounds were really beautiful and I can imagine they would be even prettier in the winter when covered in snow.
