Good family apartment for 4. Slightly away from the old town but walkable one way. Nice views from top floor. Plenty of parking available but with a fee.

Lovely room but found it so hard getting in and out- you have to ring a number then the door clicks but so hard to open. It would take us 5/6 attempts each time.
Also every time the buzzer is pressed in the whole block, you can hear it. All day and night!

I didn't receive any information ahead of time. We arrived at the property, no one was there. I tried calling hotels.com and messaging the property. After a frantic 30 minutes, I finally received a text with instructions. We got inside the building and then the entrance to the unit didn't work. After several texts to the owner, we made it inside.
The unit itself is very small. Two American travelers with large luggage take up a lot of space.
There were no instructions on how to operate anything. The wifi password that was provided was incorrect. The owner kept providing the wrong password despite my showing a screenshot of it not working. They finally sent it with the correction.
There was a washer/dryer in the unit but no soap was provided. There was no soap to wash dishes or to wash your hands in the bathroom.
The shower drained extremely slowly causing a slight flood in the bathroom. I expect the owner knows this. A warning would have been appreciated.
Overall it was a stressful rental that could have gone much easier.

Unsafe Conditions and Unprofessional Management!
Very disappointing experience.
During my stay I encountered repeated maintenance issues. In the first apartment (advertised as “luxury”), there was a recurring bathroom leak. After showering, water continued leaking near the door frame for 20–30 minutes, creating a clear slip hazard. The heating in that apartment was excessively hot.
I was moved to a second apartment, which was of noticeably lower standard and missing appliances included in the original listing, such as a dishwasher and tumble dryer. The kitchen was smaller and less functional. In this apartment, I was cold at night. Maintenance came twice to adjust the heating and were polite and professional, but the temperature remained unstable. I did not touch the boiler controls at any point.
The location is not central, so if you are visiting Kaunas, I would strongly recommend staying in the actual town centre.
While the maintenance team were helpful, communication with the host, Arvydas, was extremely disappointing. Concerns about the leak, missing appliances, and overall value were not properly acknowledged.
During my stay, I fractured my arm and informed the host that I was in the emergency room. I was still told that I needed to remove my luggage immediately or incur an additional charge. Given the medical circumstances, this felt unnecessarily rigid and lacking in basic empathy.
Overall, the apartments appear poorly maintained, and responsibility for ongoing issues is not taken. I would not stay here again.

Clean room, nicely decorated, good facilities, comfy bed. Also well located for the Akropolis shopping centre and the main shopping street.
Not sure about the door entry system where you need to phone a number and it automatically opens the door when it connects.
Also I kept banging my head in the toilet on a cabinet that juts out above the toilet bowl. Not very well designed for tall people. I have quite a big scrape on my head that was bleeding and is now scabbed over.
