A Home away from Home
I attended the 6th World Congress on Mercy and found this hidden gem in Vilnius!
The reception staff welcomed me very warmly and were extremely attentive to all my needs during the busy and beautiful days of the congress. The breakfast is amazing, and the care and attention the servers put into making guests feel welcome is truly special.
This hotel is also within walking distance of all the main attractions that Vilnius has to offer and feels very safe at any time of the day or night. As a bonus, it is only a 3-minute walk from the Divine Mercy Shrine, home of the original image of Jesus, the Divine Mercy. For pilgrims and visitors alike, this is a very special privilege, especially since the shrine is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for prayer and visitation.
I would gladly return to this hotel every time I visit Vilnius, not only because of its beauty, comfort, and excellent location, but especially because of the genuinely kind and outstanding staff who work there. They made my stay truly memorable.

So disappointing
Huge negatives:
Hanger theft: ya know hangers attached to rod.
Instant coffee: not even pods— so cheap
4 stars drops to 2 stars
Location and staff bring it up to 3.

A superb hotel, and I'm struggling to think of a better one that I've stayed at. Helpful and friendly staff, a great room (27), spotlessly clean throughout, lovely breakfast, and wonderfully located in the Old Town.

Well located and a fabulous hotel
We were a party of 4 staying three nights here and were warmly welcomed on arrival. We had been upgraded which was a fabulous bonus. Suite 413 is elegantly furnished and spacious. Room 21 was large and well presented. Different styles, both appealing.
The sauna and pool area need to be booked as they are private to the party size. This is a lovely feature as it feels a better experience and was very relaxing. The pool is small and cool. Sauna is fine. The small gym is well equipped for the size with a Smith machine, fitball, free weights, some cardio plus space to stretch. As a fitness professional I was pleased.
Breakfast. There is a good selection of fresh fruits, nuts, seeds and fish thus I was very content. The rest of the family enjoyed the hot options and cold meats/ bread etc. Staff are attentive and helpful.
We did not eat at the restaurant due to it being used for a wedding event. There are so many excellent dining options nearby this was not an issue.
The room itself is very clean, well furnished with a turn down service albeit quite early evening.
The bed is very comfortable and a sound night's sleep is more or less guaranteed.
Bathroom has so many towels, great water pressure and personal amenities although these are not always replenished.
Hotel is ideally situated for exploring the city and only a 15-20 min walk to the train and bus station if you want to visit other places.
Reception staff are all friendly and knowledgeable about local restaurants and places to see

Fun, Historical, Perfectly Located
My Stikliai stay went above and beyond my expectations. Right at the heart of historical Vilnius, this boutique space inspired me to check out hidden and unhidden corners of the Lithuanian capital. Loved the little restaurants, churches, alleys, the canal and the Hill of the Crosses as well as the unique 'Republic'. Weather was mild- I stayed at a top floor room (think 'chambre de bonne'/ La bohème artist studio) but the daytime sun did not burn. There was a certain charm to the student-like European university vibe of my room which, as a historian, I appreciated. Breakfast was amazing. Everyone in the dining team was delightful. Fruits and fish were fresh, eggs were perfect and the pastries hit the spot. Vilnius is such a beautiful city and the perfect grand finale in my early-May Baltic exploration. I particularly enjoyed the architecture and the spiritual sites (shout out to Divine Mercy Shrine, two minutes from Stikliai and Church of Saint Teresa which houses amazing murals representing scenes in the life of the Spanish mystic). Hill of the Crosses and the Neris river path offer opportunities for relaxation and quiet contemplation. Thank you!
