Fabulous!!
This place is absolutely amazing! The staff and owners were the kindest people! The rooms are exceptional, each with a seaview, the laguna is beautiful especially at low tide and the food is the best we had in Madagascar! Absolutely outstanding! Would definitely go back!!

Hotel Laguna Blu in Andavadoaka - a corner of paradise.
A gem, a pearl, a true paradise on earth.
This rare pearl deserves a great review
If you are organizing a tour of southern Madagascar, do yourself a favor: include Laguna Blu in Andavadoaka in your itinerary.
It takes about one to two days by car from Morondava and another one to two to Tulear (I am coming down from the north); perhaps it is also this isolation that makes it a special place.
Every kilometer is worth the trip, and you have to pass through that area anyway if you are doing the tour, in whatever direction you wish to do it.
I stayed there for two nights (arrived in the evening, a full day, and left in the morning) and, honestly, I was sorry not to stay longer, but I already have everything a bit planned out, of course... I would go back even tomorrow. It is one of those places that make you slow down, forget the clock, and enjoy the silence, the sea, and a still authentic nature.
I experienced a similar feeling only in Fakarava in French Polynesia.
No motorboats spotted. Never.
The property is beautiful, well-maintained, on the level of Maldivian resorts, perfectly integrated into the environment, with a view of the lagoon that alone is worth the trip. Everything is taken care of with simplicity and good taste. Very clean.
They took me by sailing pirogue to an uninhabited island, opposite, to do some really beautiful snorkeling.
Then we visited the island
The colors of the snorkeling are not the Maldives of 20 years ago, but they are better than the Maldives of today!
I saw so, so many fish.
I was alone. Alone with the locals.
The island opposite is called Nosy Hao.

They make you feel truly welcome, always available without ever being intrusive. It is evident that they put passion into what they do, and this is perceived in every detail, both of the property and the hospitality, but above all the food!
I ate in a superlative way.
I scolded Ernesto, the manager/chef who was spoiling me too much!
For me, it was one of the most beautiful places in all of Madagascar. A small corner of paradise that is hard to forget.
And I left with a heavy heart..
It's worth it. Take my word for it.
And I don't want to brag about the comparisons I have, but I have them
Costs: one night 360,000 aryary per room, less than 80 euros
Meals 50,000 aryary (including one evening when he made me lobster spaghetti that would have been enough for three people ), around 10€!

More Than a Stay, a True Madagascar Experience
We had an unforgettable stay at Laguna Blu Resort. The room was comfortable, the food was absolutely delicious, and every meal was a true delight. What amazed us most was waking up to the breathtaking turquoise sea and breathing the incredibly fresh ocean air. Enjoying breakfast with such a spectacular view felt like paradise. The peaceful atmosphere, warm hospitality, and stunning location made this one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Madagascar.

Outstanding stay at the southwest coast of Madagascar.
Laguna Blu gave us two wonderful days. The fantastic location, the incredibly good food and the wonderful bungalows leave nothing to be desired. The short sailing trip on a traditional local pirogue to an offshore island will also remain unforgettable.
