Great stay, great

A beautiful guest house with lots of charm and cozy colonial style. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable and offer great views from the balcony. The roof terrace with its magnificent views is also particularly beautiful. The food was delicious. Located in a good, quiet area, and the staff was very friendly and attentive, we immediately felt comfortable. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay!

It's just great! I really liked it.
Beautiful views of Lake Anosi and the Royal Palace. We dined on the terrace drowned in greenery drowned in flowers (undoubtedly the most beautiful place in the capital). The food was excellent, the dishes were beautifully decorated, and the portions were quite generous for a restaurant of this type. The attendants were attentive, and a special thank you to the waiter Andry. What else can I say but big bravo!

Fantastic!

We stayed here one night when our international flight arrived in Tana before departing for Andasibe the next day. Overall, it was fantastic! The room was very nice and the second floor views are unbeatable. The staff were kind, most spoke good english and all spoke immaculate french if they didn't speak english. The restaurant is fantastic! The owner, a french expat, had a friendly chat with us during breakfast and gave us two large bottles of water for free when we were checking out and preparing for the long drive to Andasibe. Highly recommend!

a very personal stay

The accommodation had good comments, when we booked in internet, but for us it was even better than expected. The location is superb: in an upper part of the city overlooking lake Anosy, with all the Jacarandas around in bloom in November. We could enjoy it from the terrace of the restaurant, but also from the balcony of our suite.
All in all there are only 3 suites, but the place functions like a regular hotel. The main business as we saw must be the excellent restaurant attached to it, where we had all our three dinners (there is a separate entry for it at Tripadvisor). A simple, French style breakfast was served outdoors (in good weather): Croissants, Brioche, Jam, Butter, Fruit Juice and Eggs any way. The coffee was fine.
The suite was very aesthetical, as all the place. Enough storage space, good beds, a writing desk, sofa, balcony with table and chairs. A free bottle of water was offered. Mosquito net around the bed (but not needed).
With some electricity problems in town there is no A/C, just a ventilator on the desk, but we did not ned it anyway, nor a fridge, which was missing or shampoo/shower gel in the bathroom.

Nice stay

This is a very fancy and nice hotel in Antananarivo. The rooms are good and have everything you need, including a great view over the lake close by. The food is great during the day (with a great buffet) and in the evening (a la carte). The location is in a nice area of town.
