Decent budget option

A solid hotel at an affordable price and in a convenient location! We booked this hotel on short notice and had a very nice stay. It is 1km or so down the road from Analamazaotra National Park (commonly referred to as Andasibe) and about 4-5km from Andasibe village. The beds were comfortable, showers were hot, and it had a good mosquito net. The wifi was not good however, and dinners were mediocre (breakfast was good though). For food, I recommend going to the second floor restaurant at the second hotel down the road on the right heading toward the main highway (a 10 minute walk).

Loved our time at Soanala

Soanala was our first accommodation in Madagascar and a fitting introduction to that wonderful country. Communication with Fahamaro before arrival was excellent and the service by the always smiling and energetic staff during our stay was superb. The bungalow was very comfortable and the hot shower welcome after long days in the parks. We very much enjoyed the meals and the chef's flexibility in catering for food allergies. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained.
