Avatel Hotel (formerly -Atta Hotel) situated not far to Bukit Mertajam town area.Around 2km from train station.
24 hours reception. The rooms are equipped with air-conditioning,work desk,wardrobe,flat-screen TV,mini fridge,toiletries,towels,instant coffee.Wifi in rooms,parking on site.Nearby got 7-11, groceries mart,Thai foods mini mart.

The hotel is OK. Clean and the girl at the reception was cordial and helpful. The room is OK, AC is good, shower was good.
The eateries are a bit far away.

Overall good. However:
1. Only one hanger in the closet.
2. Dispenser holder broken. Only soap container placed on top of tissue roller and without shampoo container.
