A pleasant and comfortable hotel experience
The hotel's facilities are new, the location is good, the hotel's service is excellent, the view is excellent, the facilities such as the pool environment is excellent, the gym equipment is also very advanced.

Definitely worth the visit
Brand new property opened in 2024, so since our last Penang trip.
Super, super check-in by Jess... even subbed me the money for the taxi from the airport. Prompt, friendly and super helpful.
Wanted to try the property but it was quite full so had to pay for an M Club room... would get that anyway through Bonvoy. Room equally efficient and on 20th Floor so able, even at my age, to walk the 15m to the M Club.
And that is as far as we got! I'm not an M Club fan... it is a soulless concept introduced by the evil spirit now in possession of Marriott Asia (except China) who seems hell-bent sucking the life out of the brand.
Kudos though to the Penang version... not huge but great views and the serving staff were... AMAZING! Very attentive, courteous and ultra-polite. Food options a bit deep fried but copious amounts of liquid refreshment compensated.
Not cheap but very much worth the price paid in this instance.

Our favorite hotel in Penang
This is our second week-long stay at the Penang Marriott, and once again, the experience was exceptional.
We believe the best reviews come from a child, and according to ours, this hotel has the BEST rooms, BEST views, BEST lounge, BEST breakfast (especially the roti canai and pandan chicken) and, most importantly, the BEST staff. A special thank you to Ms. Sakthi in the kids’ playroom, who made our son’s stay especially memorable.
From pre-arrival through departure, everything was handled with professionalism. The team consistently made us feel welcome and well looked after throughout our extended stay.
We look forward to returning to Penang Marriott again on our next trip.

A more than excellent Hotel
First. I must commend on the staff of the hotel. The service they provided was second to non. Being a titanium member. I have stayed in the hundreds, if not thousand of hotels of the MARRIOT chain and the service provided by this hotel simply stands out among the.many I have stayed. The service provided at the executive lounge was also better than words can describe.
My wife had some diarrhea, likely caught at the airline food. Somehow the hotel manager came to know about it. He ordered s complementary congee to our room. That is superb service at its height.
At the lounge, the service provided again is next to none. People in particular to mentioned are Kok Hang and Brtrisyia. Kok Hong even provided me a take out of his noodle as my wife was not very well
At restaurant, the waitress even remember where our reference seats are and directed us to the place. All the staff and the one one worth mentioning is Khadijah who provided us with excellent service, especially on warming the soy milk.
The rooms we booked were upgraded to a good view location. The location of the hotel as very near to the Mall and the hotel was quiet and very clean.
Finally I met the Room division manager, Shane Sham who understand our medical conditions and help me to get a Grab to get some money exchange and was the one who order a complementary congee to our room. That is service beyond the call of duty. Thank you, Shane.
At the checking out, Jess also try to help us with out heavy luggage despite the fact that his was not her job.
As I whole, our experience with this hotel is more than excellent. We like to thank all the staff and managers for a job very well done.
