Always a winner!

Perfect location without leaving the airport. Excellent friendly, knowledgeable staff. Must mention Ziah and her Supervisor at TBG who went the extra mile to make a birthday celebration dinner special. Service outstanding. Thank you. Been coming here 20 years. Always a pleasure. Highly recommend.

Fantastic and unbeatable

Fantastically nice hotel.
Really great. Nice rooms nice shower good beds, no sound no light.
Pool is great.
You don't even notice you're at the airport.
Friendly staff, friendly staff. The food is not normally good. They serve you with class.

A great way to spend a lay-over

This hotel is directly connected to KLIA terminal 1. It is spacious and modern and the check-in and check-out were very smooth. Large, well appointed room with complimentary drinks in the mini bar. There is a lobby bar and a number of restaurants.
I would not hesitate to staying here again. Highly recommended.

Mixed feelings

We have now stayed at Sama-Sama KLIA three times. Our first stay last year was without any issues. On this trip, we stayed on our first night after a late arrival from the UK before travelling into Kuala Lumpur for a week, and then returned to Sama-Sama the night before an early flight to Langkawi. With central KL potentially around 1½ hours away depending on traffic, the location is extremely convenient and removes the stress of travelling to or from the city around flight times.
Unfortunately, our first stay on this trip was let down by the lounge experience. Some of the food was disappointing — in particular, the chicken wings were so tough that we left them — but it was the service that was more noticeable. Staff seemed more interested in talking amongst themselves than attending to guests or clearing tables, and were not particularly welcoming. We eventually moved to another table to play cards and, when we later left, our original table was still uncleared. This was in contrast to the other hotel staff we encountered, who were consistently polite and welcoming. Our room on this stay was clean and perfectly adequate.
When we returned a week later, we chose to eat at one of the many outlets in the airport rather than use the lounge. Unfortunately, this time the bathroom was not cleaned to the standard we would expect. There were several areas that needed more attention, including black mould in the shower. The sink was also positioned exceptionally low and was uncomfortable to use, making us wonder whether we had been allocated an accessible room.
Would we stay again? Yes. For late arrivals or early departures, the convenience of Sama-Sama is difficult to beat and avoids worrying about KL traffic. However, based on our experiences this trip, we would probably skip the lounge and instead take advantage of the many food options available within the airport.

Relaxing and therapeutic.

Ask for Ahmat if you can get her. Relaxing and therapeutic. Room is darkened with mediational music. And great value for money.
