KL's Best-Kept Serviced Apartment Secret
At a high level, this is a premium serviced residence in KL's Golden Triangle that punches well above its category. Genuinely spacious apartments, jaw-dropping city views, warm staff, and a location that balances quiet and central. A few operational rough edges, but hard to fault overall.
LOCATION:Positioned on Jalan Ceylon in Bukit Ceylon — a leafy, quiet enclave that sits almost surreally close to the chaos of Bukit Bintang and Jalan Alor. It's roughly a 5-minute walk to Jalan Alor for street food, 10 minutes to the Changkat bar strip, and a short Grab ride to KLCC or Pavilion. The monorail at Raja Chulan is about an 11-minute walk, and the MRT at Bukit Bintang is 12 minutes on foot — not impossible, but not ideal if you're carrying shopping bags in KL's heat. A complimentary shuttle service runs to key spots in the city which partially compensates
DINE + DRINK:The 163 Lounge on the 48th floor is the star here — a beautiful duplex space with panoramic views of the KL Tower and Petronas Towers, where a generous buffet breakfast is served daily. Cold cuts, cheeses, pastries, fresh fruit, yoghurt, proper eggs and daily hot specials like nasi lemak and roti canai — the spread is genuinely excellent and would compete with many five-star hotel breakfasts. The lounge serves beverages and light snacks during the day, but don't arrive expecting a full bar or evening dining — you'll need to head out, which, given the neighbourhood, is not a hardship.
ROOM: This is where Lanson Place genuinely earns its reputation. We stayed in 1601, which was a 3 bedroom suite, so this review is based on that; SIZE: HUGE apartment that was bigger than our own place back home - a place where you can easily get lost or play hide and seek! 3 individual bedrooms and a massive Living room with beautiful windows and views. It even came with its massive dining table and area; VIEW: ; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM:Good sized bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Good spa quality toiletries from NATURALS brand
FACILITIES: Very good Gym with a full range of weights, workout stations, and Cardio machines. The massive swimming is Olympic length! And they also have a pool table in the 48th floor lounge. Overall, a place where you can summon your Rocky Balboa to become stronger and fitter!
SERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. Special Shout-out to HUMER at the Lounge for hosting us like Royalty, LOKMAN from housekeeping for attending to all our in-room needs with a big smile, and SIYAKIR for a warm welcome at the front desk. Of course a big thanks to Mr. Kassim from the Sales dept for enhancing our stay experience!
HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Big Smart TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in multiple languages

THE place to stay
Lanson is a fantastic service apartment. Extremely well situated. The staff is efficient and soooo kind! The apartment is large, well equipped and well maintained. And the view is stunning. The breakfast buffet is amazing. 2nd time in 6 years that we stay there and we will every time you will go back to KL.

A very nice homey staycation place in the heart of Kuala Lumpur with reasonable room rate. Nice & spacious room with KL city sky view, olympic swimming pool, awesome sauna & steam facilities and strategic locations to commute around KL city center. Very nice aparthotel. Spacious, quiet,helpful staff and great location, stunning city view. Breakfast choice is limited for cost but can help start your day. We will use it again.

An oasis of green tranquility.
Always a great place to stay in Kuala Lumpur as it is an oasis of green tranquility amidst a sea of concrete skyscrapers.
The area , Bukit Ceylon has still retained a bit of what Kuala Lumpur was like thirty years ago.
The service is amazing and the breakfast on the top floor is like eating in the sky. Great stay overall
