Nice and quiet, great vibe, no frills

Rembulan is a great hostel but not for everyone. The atmosphere and vibe is excellent, plenty of moments to meet new travelers and hang out. The owners also operate a very good vegan cafe next door and if you’re lucky; a fantastic little coffee van with great third wave brews until around 2pm daily. The showers and bathrooms were fine but not fancy. Kitchen is actually quite serviceable and the lounge area is comfy (you might find four or five adorable kittens running around). Beds are very firm but to be expected in this area. I imagine summer would be warm due to AC being shared with other rooms. Location was good, a 5 or 10min walk to the Main Street and beaches but away from the hustle. If you’re looking to slow down and chill for a few days, this is a good no frills option.

Great hostel

The hostel was mostly clean, the beds were comfy and there was enough room for everyone.
The staff was very friendly and always quick to help! The hostel is close to town and everything it around walking distance. To get around more you need to get a scooter though.

Excellent stay

A very cozy and clean enviroment.Suitable for bagpackers.Meeting a lot of new friends from diffrent countries.The staff and the owner are so friendly. The breakfast are toast and coffee.Walking distance to Cenang beach.

Good value and lots of fun

The hostel was nice and very friendly. The staff were great very laid back and the hostel clean and fun. There are a lot of cats and it would be good if there were lockers in the room or locks on the door but not a major concern as it felt pretty safe.

Very Nice Experience!

Together with a friend we booked 2 beds in the dorm room and it definitely exceeded our expectations! The hostel was very clean, the beds were comfortable and there was a nice out door shower. The staff is very friendly and super laidback. Unfortunately, there went something wrong with the booking so had to move to another hostel. And even though we weren’t staying there anymore he said that we were always more than welcome to visit!
If i would visit Langkawi again, i would definitely stay there :)
