Your Perfect Seremban Getaway Starts Here!
I boarded a coach from Larkin Sentral in Johor Bahru and alighted at Terminal 1 (Seremban Bus Terminal). Then I took a ride-hailing service to the hotel. The ride took about 10 mins and cost RM6.18.
I booked a two-night stay in the Deluxe Room and was accommodated in Room No. 317. Although the room measures 16 square metres, it suits me fine as a solo occupant. The room’s dressing table and bedside tables are all custom-made. I love the hotel’s in-house brand bed and pillow as it was comfortable, which provided me with a restful sleep. One interesting thing to note is that the hotel partners with a company called Natural Signature, which produces locally made wood furniture for use in the guest rooms. This allows the guests to experience and purchase the custom-made furniture from the on-site showroom at the hotel lobby if they like it.
The TV only offers free-to-air Malaysian channels. Additionally, there is CCTV 4 for Chinese viewers. The Wi-Fi network worked well. I did not see any universal power socket, though there are two USB sockets on each side of the bed. I was surprised the hotel even provides a multi-charging cable. The shower area does not have a door, therefore the shower area may get a little wet after use. The shower temperature and pressure worked fine. Bath showering gel, shampoo, and hair dryer are provided, but you are required to bring your own dental kit. There was no housekeeping during my two nights’ stay here. I wondered if this is the norm.
My room faces the highway, therefore there is some traffic noise. Fortunately, there was less traffic during the night, so the noise level was acceptable for my sleep.
Do not worry about dining as there are a few eateries nearby the hotel, namely:
* K Fry Urban Korean Seremban Oasis (Korean) - 12pm to 11pm
* Marrybrown Pusat Perniagaan Oasis (Fast Food) - 10am to 10pm
* Restoran Laksa Seremban (Malaysian) - 8.30am to 5.30pm
The following places are also within walking distance from the hotel:
* Palm Mall - 550m
* Lembaga Muzium Negeri Sembilan (Museum) - 850m
* Seremban Gateway (Mall) - 1.05km
Unfortunately, there is no convenience store in the hotel vicinity. The nearest is located across the highway, towards the direction of the Palm Mall. I have walked from the hotel to this mall by crossing the highway. Do exercise caution and be alert as the vehicles may travel at high speed.
As a security measure, guests are required to tap their key card when entering the hotel lobby.
Although Seremban has gained its city status in 2020 and is part of the Greater Kuala Lumpur area, there are no four- and five-star hotels here. While Bilik Bilik by MUO is a boutique hotel, I would say it is possibly the best accommodation choice, which offers an unbeatable value in Seremban.

First, I had requested a high-floor room, but upon check-in, I was told that all rooms had already been assigned, and I was placed on the first floor. While this was frustrating, the real issue came when I arrived at my room, I was shocked to find animal poo inside. I immediately went to the reception, showed them a picture, and requested a room change. However, the staff was polite but did not apologize and simply told me that they could not switch my room. The only solution they offered was to have someone clean it up. Since I was in a hurry to go out, I reluctantly accepted this.
When I returned that night, the mess had been cleaned, but the room had a persistent bad smell throughout my stay. To make things worse, the next day, I found animal poo in the same spot again. Additionally, at night, there were many wild dogs outside, barking loudly, which made it difficult to rest.
Overall, this was an extremely unpleasant experience, and I was relieved that I was only staying for two nights. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

The only issue we have is that the shower area has no shower curtain which can easily wet the toilet roll when we use the shower.
