Practical & Charming - Perfect Island Life
- Rooms are modern, neat and clean - recently renovated.
- Hosts Natalie & Sheralyn were most attentive and hospitable, while also providing local recommendations of activities in the area.
- Great breakfasts with some variety each day, and we enjoyed a delicious local meal one evening.
- A fridge is provided.
- Excellent location in the Graviers village, 2 minutes walk to the beach, as well as 3 small restaurants and a convenience store.
- Partial sea view, and pleasant surrounds with farm animals on neighbouring properties.
- Walking distance to activities - 1) start of hiking trail to Trou d'Argent / St Francois, 2) boat trip to nearby Cat Island, 3) kite surfing.
Also just to note:
- Being without aircon (same as other accommodation in this price category) it may be hot in mid Summer. There is a fan and good ventilation.
- Road names and signage aren't great in the village so be sure to check the location (our host kindly met at the airport to guide us).
- No wifi.

A friendly retreat
The best part about this accommodation are the friendly people- we were welcomed at the airport by a lady from Tigraviers (to make sure that we made our way to Graviers without getting lost) and throughout our trip, no request was too much. We enjoyed the breakfasts and had a delicious octopus curry for dinner one night as well.
One negative was that the roof is made of metal sheeting, so it was very loud when it rained, but other than that, we had a most pleasant stay and would recommend this accommodation.
Tip: Make sure to bring cash and get petrol on your way as the small town doesn't have a petrol station or atm and most activities require payment in cash.
