The place was clean and well-maintained. Beautiful landscape with a swimming pool and pick-a-ball cords. The food at the restaurant was good, especially on weekends for the buffet. However, some front desk staff were not very friendly. For instance, on a Monday night, we asked for towels; you have to ask for them if you need them. The girl in charge of the service at the front office said they did not have clean towels because they were used through the weekend :/ Of course, we were disappointed because we paid for the service and needed them! Finally, later on, she went to our room, explaining she got some towels from other rooms. She could have made an effort to explain our options when asking for them to begin with.

Not worth it
Not worth the 1300 a night, the room was ok, but if I didn't feel it completely clean, the bed and pillows very common and had details in which you could notice that the room cleans it very superficial and there is no detail because since we arrived there were already stains in some areas

My party of 16 members stayed at this property during a big event at this town. All of us got a total of 5 rooms and all rooms faced several issues. Some units were remodeled with new flooring, showers, sink but AC unit not cooling enough. Other units were not remodeled; had very old tubs with stains, carpet very worn out and stained but AC unit and view to green areas, swimming pool and mountain were great. Staff seemed a little overwhelmed with “high” traffic due to town/village’s week festivities as musicians and travelers like us sold out all rooms at this hotel. Our main purpose was to visit relatives at this town, make use of swimming pool by the children in our group, and get some rest/sleep. Beds, pillows, sheets, blankets are in need of an upgrade. I will give this hotel a second chance once it is fully renovated as it has a nice lot with lots of parking, breakfast is decent, and there is a nice restaurant on premises that is very nice and serves tasty food. Swimming pool is great and loved the morning sounds of roosters and several kinds of birds chirping. Check in and check out was a breeze and staff smiled which made us feel welcomed.

We were there for a big family reunion for April 2024.
On the day of the event, when we were getting ready for the party in the room they provided to me and my family (my wife, my 11, 5 and 2 year old children and me) I had glass doors in the watering can cancel, which were broken when I wanted to take out my 5 year old son who was taking a bath and run the door, which, ran so fast to the opposite side, hit the corner of the wall and shattered the 2 glass doors of the watering can. With the 2-year-old girl present there was also glass throughout the bathroom, including the children and me, the 5-year-old was the one who suffered the most outrageous injuries and thank God they were not serious, however the performance of the hotel staff was deplorable, focusing on charging us said cancel. At no point were we asked if there were any injuries, or as it was we were.
At that time for me and my family it was all chaos, barefoot children and adults, since it was the intention to bathe, the whole bathroom and part of the entrance to the room full of glass and the children who were inside the bathroom and I also full of very small slivers of glass all over our bodies in fear of moving to not hurt us anymore, with no healing material available.
We advised the reception of the event and were sent to someone maintenance to check, first person who told us that we would be charged without offering help.
Since we did not come prepared for the injuries that were caused, we went to ask the reception if they had medicine cabinet and the answer was no, but that we would be charged the damage caused, second person who told us that comment without offering us help.
After that I asked to be sent to the cleaning staff and assigned another room to maneuver (if it doesn’t come out of our mouths, they don’t offer it), and they told me that they would check, since it was a very busy weekend and there would probably no longer be room and if they had charged me additional the cost of the room provided instead of the original.
After almost an hour and a half of being with that situation, I was told that if there was a room available, to which no one helped us move the luggage more than my brother and my dad and which also already had an acrylic cancel, which made me think that probably already have history or have already happened accidents of that type with the glass ones, although I do not know. And in addition to that I was told that if I had to charge the cost of the new room at the reception, which we refused at the reception and requested to speak to the manager immediately. They told me that if they had to charge me both the new room ($2000.00 MXN), as well as the damages of the cancel ($4000.00 MXN if it was by credit card or $2000.00 MXN yes it was in cash).
After negotiating a while with the manager we agreed that $2000.00 MXN would be paid and that if the hotel was not filled that night I would not be charged the cost of the new room allocated.
And in the end it was, but we were left with that terrible taste of the hotel staff acting focused on money and without empathy or interest for the integrity of the guest.
