Casa Jade: pretty in the photos, inadmissible in reality. Run away.

The pictures of Casa Jade make you want: a pretty renovated house in the center of Campeche. But once there, nothing or almost nothing matches the advertised services or the minimum standards of a hotel.
Advertised parking does not exist. The “pool” is actually a tiny pool of a few meters with about 40 cm of water. No Wi-Fi, yet announced and today essential, even on holiday, to organize visits, restaurants, travel and reservations.
More serious: no hot water in the room and clogged toilet. When we report the absence of hot water, no solution: we are told in essence that if we are not happy, we must complain to Expedia. Since when is Expedia responsible for hot water in a hotel?
At some point, you have to remember the obvious: toilets that work and hot water, even in prison, you have them.
And then comes the famous “continental breakfast”, which completes the picture. Not a fruit, not a juice, almost empty fridges, some poor toast. You have to stand up, help yourself, prepare everything yourself and even do your dishes. By the way, I might as well rent an apartment.
We are no longer simply talking about a disappointing hotel. Hot water, functional sanitary facilities, advertised Wi-Fi, breakfast worthy of the name: fundamentals are not insured.
In my view, the competent authorities should monitor this establishment and seriously consider whether it can continue to operate as a hotel under these conditions.
More information for those who still want to risk this trap: the pretty photos do not compensate for the reality of the stay.

The rooms are clean and staff is helpful. I thought I and booked a room the king bed, but on arrival it had only a double. Staff accommodated us by allowing us to change, which was very kind..
