Structure with potential from 10 and honors, but final grade 7
The hotel is located in the city center, about 20 minutes walk from the bus terminal of ADO (bus company that will take you almost anywhere in Yucatan, including to Chichen Itza with its satellite company Oriente, thus avoiding scams through the various local tour operators).
The structure is very nice and safe, there is private surveillance that guards access, but in general the whole area where the hotel is located is very quiet (Puerto Cancun).
The rooms, indeed mini apartments, are fairly large, there is in fact a mini kitchen quite complete, although in truth we could have used some other pots and in general other dishes (2 plates, two glasses, two forks, a couple of pots, etc.).
The biggest problem was the absence of a balcony, not so much for the lack of the latter, but for the fact of not having a drying rack where to put the washed clothes to dry (to dry them in the room took two days).
Another sore note was the cleaning of the rooms that took place before the delivery of the apartment at check-in and then after 7 days (we stayed 8 nights, so we were cleaned the room only once during our stay), something really unthinkable for a structure that calls itself a hotel.
Staff extremely friendly, friendly and helpful, another happy note represented by the fact that you can load water in the room adjacent to the pool (pool that we did not use because always in the shade), but otherwise the good news ends here.
With a few small tricks it could be a structure of 10 and praise.
Price paid through Booking.com for 8 nights: About 620 euros.
It should also be noted that Cancun does not have the characteristics of a real tourist city, from this point of view light years better Playa Del Carmen.
The local bus stop R1-R2 is at the ADO Bus Station (1.4 km) or at the main entrance of Puerto Cancun (about 1 km).
