Very good hotel

A very comfortable hotel, the food is very good, close to Bacalar and an excellent price, the service from the staff is very good, the room is very nice and clean.

A ring of thieves working at Fiesta Inn

We were robbed by staff of this hotel. We arrived yesterday 7 rooms a party of 14 for our staff trip. We were at the pool today and returned to our room around 930am and found cleaninng staff had just gone through our stuff and stole 1000 pesos.
We instantly reported and the front desk staff told us they would check the security footage. What would they check for the staff had access to our room and would not come out visibly counting the money where they are aware security cameras are.
It became apparent that it is a ring.

Excellent hotel

Hotel with an excellent location a few blocks from the flag monument and the boardwalk to go for a walk in the afternoon when the sun starts to go down. It is 10 minutes from the airport, but they do not have a shuttle service to the airport. It has a pool at the very top, but it lacks something to provide shade, so you need plenty of sunscreen. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and pillows for all tastes. Air conditioning system so you don't suffer from the heat. The staff is very attentive in general. The room phone doesn't work, but they give you a number to request what you need via WhatsApp. It has a breakfast buffet that starts at 6am.

Ain't much Fiesta-ing at Fiesta Inn

It was easy to find. The rooms were clean except for the windows. Being on the 4th floor you would expect to enjoy the view of the city, but the grime on the windows didn't allow it. The shower walls did very little to stop water from escaping and making a mess of the rest of the bathroom. The pool, I really expected more since it's one of the highlights of the venue. The planks around the pool were broken, the water itself was mirky like it hadn't been cleaned for quite some time. We couldn't even see the bottom of the pool. Maybe we picked a bad time to visit or maybe it's just unkept, but I couldn't allow my family to get in that water. The staff were friendly and very helpful though. They even suggested other places for us to enjoy a pool. Traveling with kids means if there's a pool, they need to jump in, at least with my bunch.
