This hotel has everything you need for families and business, great restaurant inside. Pool and jacuzzis are beautiful. Close to everything in the heart of ensenada. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Just book here, you won't be disappointed

The rooms were clean and best part of the stay and the pool/jacuzzis. My low stars are based on customer service and details that made the trip more complicated. Since this hotel does not have a refrigerator we thought we would be ok with a small cooler we could add ice mainly for kid snacks. Well the ice machine never had ice. We were only able to grab once and had to go to the bar area where they also didn’t have any. The room only had two towels upon entry even though reservation was for 5 guests. When I called they only wanted to give me the amount of towels to total out the amount of guest. They took 30 minutes to give the extra towels. The next day I asked for additional towels again since again only two were replaced and they were asking me on the phone why I wanted extra towels. Uummm because each guest should be using their own towel!! They said they would be sending someone and my husband had to call them to tell them no one had come which ended up taking them 45 minutes or so for 3 extra towels even though I asked for 4. Like if a hotel has to be that crazy fixated about towels they should definitely rethink being in business. The front desk girl was rude and so I don’t know if that’s why our experience was more complicated than it should have been. Outside of the hotel it did look ghetto but inside each room and hallway it was nice. I don’t see myself going back there, I go to MX often so been to my share of hotels this one is low in the score.

Place was great! Location was great! The only negative for me was I couldn’t bring my iced coffee to the pool area which was not terrible but I did want to relax by the pool drinking some coffee but everything else I was really happy with.

Safe parking, clean rooms, helpful staff, restaurant available, nice large hot tubs and within walking distance to downtown!

Although the reservation was messed up via Hotels.com, the staff at San Nicolas was very accommodating and they helped us get into a room that some what matched our original reservation. The hotel was remodeled and the room was clean and large. The room had a small microwave and a Fridge/Cooler that keeps your drinks relatively cool. The restroom in the room is large and spacious, but the water pressure in the showers was kinda lacking. I recommend asking for 3rd floor w/ pool view. Pool area was very nice and relaxing. The Pool area has Bar and Food menu served poolside and Happy Hour is from 2pm to 5pm. The hotel has a Sunday brunch offered from 8am to 1pm. In my opinion it was average maybe 3 out of 5. They actual stay and experience at the Hotel was very nice... close to town and other restaurants in the area, I would definitely stay at the San Nicolas again.
