Very poor hotel: no hot water, mosquitoes everywhere in the room, had to ask for toilet paper, noisy air conditioner,

My friend and I arrived early evening on September 20, 2020. There were only 4 vehicles in the parking lot, which should have told us to keep driving, but we were tired and hungry. The restaurant and bar were closed. The room was ok, the bed seemed comfortable so we decided to stay. We were each given a towel and a small bar of soap and there was no toilet paper in the room so we had to go back to reception where there were only a few half used rolls available. There was no remote control for the air conditioning and it was only when my friend got angry that the person at the front desk provided one but demanded a deposit of $ 200 pesos. The air conditioning barely worked and made a lot of noise. The last straw came after we went to bed and discovered that the room was full of mosquitoes, making it impossible to sleep. I got 7 bites in no time (not exactly comforting in Dengue fever season). We decided to leave. I went to take a shower but there was no hot water! None! When we went to the reception desk, we described our complaints and asked for our money back, the person refused and said that if we had decided to leave before midnight, he would have returned the money to us, but not at any time after that. I would give it 1/10.
