Satisfied with my stay

5-night stay
Upside:
(1) Location: Right on attractive, tree-lined Paseo de Montejo; walking distance from many sights, restaurants, cafes and shops. Lively during the day and evening, but quiet enough to sleep at night.
(2) Breakfast: Breakfast included in the rate offered a delicious selection of dishes and coffee made-to-order, including local specialities.
(3) Room: Charming, spacious, clean and comfortable. Effective and quiet air-conditioning, and ceiling fan, which are essential for hot and humid summers in Mérida. Good quality toiletries.
(4) Staff: In every interaction, staff came across as warm and caring
Downside:
(1) Bathroom: In this hotel, as is common in Mérida and certain other places around the world, plumbing issues restrict the throwing of all paper (even toilet paper) into the toilet bowl. Maybe at this price point, the hotel could consider upgrading its toilets to bidet-type ones to reduce/eliminate toilet paper usage.

Highly Recommend this Boutique Hotel

Excellent location next to the restaurant corridor/street", delicious breakfast, very clean and wonderful service with the kindest people that work there. Very helpful in giving us tips of where to dine. Bed was very comfortable, large bathroom and in room mini fridge. In the evenings they would turn down the bed and leave a little dessert to savor the evening. We look forward to returning.

Excellent option

A quick three night visit to sign paperwork and be with friends.
Location is perfect. Right where Montejo starts. Has parking but it requires for you to wait a bit.
Room, roof garden and service was all I could ask for.
Will be back, definitely.

Kahal excellent place and service

Best location on the most important avenue of Merida, paseo Montejo. At one block from the best restaurants and stores.Wonderful service and beautiful colonial building

Accommodation

The hotel is very quiet; it feels like you are in your own home. The only disadvantage of our room was that there was a summary behind it that had music playing.
