Who This Is Actually For: I’m Mexican, so I expected the noise—especially Thursday through Sunday when the neighborhood is alive with music, people, and that weekend energy. That’s just how our culture rolls, and honestly? It’s vibrant and real.
I’d absolutely recommend this for Mexican families needing a few nights in the city, or honestly anyone who appreciates authentic, lived-in neighborhoods over sanitized tourist zones.
Who Should Skip It: If you’re visiting Mexico City for the first time and expecting a quieter, curated experience, this isn’t it. This is for people who get the culture—who know that Friday and Saturday nights mean music, life, and yes, noise. If that makes you uncomfortable, pick somewhere in Polanco or Chapultepec or Roma Norte instead.

Things I liked were the distance from Zocalo, Merced and Sonora Markets. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was a little small especially bathroom. The door was a little weird we could see light coming through around the door. Window had no screen to keep bugs out and found several small cockroaches in room and bathroom. Overall it was ok.

Very terrible place , how can you go on vacation where is not recommended to be around after 6 pm, definitely find a better place to stay , I had to change my hotel for something more secure and comfortable

Comfortable bed, hot water with great pressure, electrical outlets close to the bed and quiet floor fan
