Unforgettable experience

Since the arrival we could see that the beauty of the hotel was exceeding the picturesque pictures. The room is really beautiful and tidy as the common spaces.
The staff has been amazing in supporting me before the trip and during the stay to create wonderful moments for the birthday of my wife. They have assisted me organising a serenade and have also surprised my wife with an artisanal cake for breakfast and a special setup of the room on the day of the birthday.
Furthermore, the hotel is in a strategic location to visit the town by foot.
If you want to explore Oaxaca (which is wonderful) be sure to stay in this magnificent hotel❤️

Very central

Hotel located in the historic center. Large rooms with large bathroom and all the necessary comforts. Friendly and caring staff. Breakfast a little poor.

Home away from home for sure!

Casa de Siete Balcones is your home away from home for sure! I've clocked my second time staying there and it was just as lovely and comfortable if not more so than the first! Staff are the sweetest and most helpful at arranging breakfast, taxis, tours, directions- you name it! If your Spanish is 'no bueno, como mi'- most folks also have great English here. The location is by far the best being 2 blocks or less away from everything- including the main square/zocalo, taxi stand, the cathedral, a main tour operator pickup, 3 of the best Michelin star restaurants in the city, and so many artesian shopping markets and food options that you will empty your pockets and fill your stomach in no time! :) Around the corner is also a fantastic coffee shop, Cafe Brujalo, and a Scotiabank so you can recharge and keep things moving. Prearrange for breakfast add ons like tamal, eggs, and/or memelitas. The negro mole tamal here will make appearances in my dreams as they are as good if not better than those I had at the Michelin star restaurants nearby. Trust a fatty straight off the tamal trail! :)

Overall excellent experience- even better than the site suggested.

Hotel was beautiful. Charming, unique and well kept. Friendly staff- excellent breakfast and rooms have wonderful high ceilings, access to a balcony, good linens and amenities. Terrific location. good coffee and good internet.

A cozy place I would definitely return to.

Since our arrival they made us feel at home. Both the service and facilities were excellent, and the cleanliness impeccable. My family was very happy with the experience. In addition, I had the opportunity to stay with my pet (a chihuahua), following the directions of the hotel, which I found suitable.
The staff was always friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere of the place is quiet, ideal to rest, also highlights its central location.
Would definitely stay again at Casa de Siete Balcones.
