We loved this hotel! While it's a bit of a walk from some of the main attractions, the location is still very convenient. Despite being on a busy street, our room was remarkably quiet, which made for a great night's sleep.
The only issue we encountered was with the shower; we had to remove the shower head to get water flowing correctly. Other than that, the room was comfortable. We even get a personalized card and courtesy chocolates.
The breakfast was the absolute highlight of our stay. It featured high-quality traditional dishes, different every day, and was the perfect way to start a busy day of sightseeing. We would happily stay here again and would highly revommended for those who, like us, prefer boutique hotels.

We loved our stay here! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Front desk is open 24/7. We were greeted with mezcal shots! Breakfast was homemade and delicious. They give you coffee and bread with your complimentary breakfast. Rooms were clean and done every day per request . We will definitely come back. Walk to center was 15 min and safe. Thank you Ayook staff!

Nice hotel on the edge of town. Breakfast was very good - we had to leave early on our last day, so there wasn’t any coffee available before 7:30, but we enjoyed the breakfasts we had.
Convenient grocery store across the street for snacks, water, etc. Walked up the hill to get a great view of the city and see other neighborhoods. Great restaurant nearby - Moogone!

Ayook is wonderful

Wonderful 1 week stay here. Don’t let the outside scare you nor the busy street. Inside is quiet, clean, charming and fun. The staff are the best of the best. We asked for feather pillows and a few other requests and were greeted with yes and a smile.

Comfortable, but with noise limitations and schedules

Small, quiet and very cozy hotel. It has parking one block away for those arriving by car. The center is 15min walk away.
The staff was attentive and friendly throughout.
I would not recommend it for people sensitive to noise, as you hear practically everything. The first night, already late, the constant noise of an engine could be heard. The staff offered us earplugs and, on the 2nd night, we were in another room, which was better.
As an area for improvement, I would suggest that breakfast service (included) starts earlier. No day we could take it, as it starts at 7:30am and both days we had to leave earlier, as did other guests. We asked — as did another room — if we could at least have a coffee at 7:00am, but the front desk staff apologized that they were forbidden to serve it before that time. Considering that many guests leave early for tours, excursions or the airport, a basic coffee, tea or something “ready to go” would be a very good idea.
