The Most Magical Proposal and Place

This place is absolutely perfect—truly magical. The staff is incredibly attentive, making you feel supported in every possible way, and they genuinely deliver on that. I planned a surprise proposal here, and it could not have gone more smoothly. This was largely thanks to the amazing team at the hotel, as well as the stunning location itself.
I read reviews beforehand, many of which highlighted the hotel’s unparalleled attention to detail. As someone who frequently stays at five-star hotels around the world, I can confidently say this place truly stands out. Here, details matter, kindness matters, and ensuring you have the best experience possible matters.
The rooms are a perfect escape—ideal for a getaway. While it’s true that it’s about a 15- to 20-minute drive (depending on traffic) to the city center, it’s absolutely worth it. We’ll definitely be returning to this incredible place many times in the future. I can’t thank the team, the location, and the surrounding nature enough for creating such an unforgettable experience.

Few rooms in the hotel with no privacy

We were given a room next to the restaurant, if you want to sit outside at the balcony you are literally sitting next to one of the tables in the restaurants. To keep some privacy we closed the curtain the whole time and that is the only window in the room so basically we could not enough at all. Also it’s very noisy so you cannot rest. I have raised the issue to one of the staff, and got a reply of “only until 10pm every night and all the other rooms are similar”. Anyway we requested to change to another room but only available the next day. Moreover the shower temperature is not stable, during the shower it became super hot and cold suddenly. After googling we discovered another guest complained about the exact same thing as us one month ago.
The hotel room also lacking basic stuff like kettle, fridge and wine glasses etc. Gym is not available at all.
The swimming pool is so small you can barely swim.
Also the hotel is quite far from city so prepare to pay 200pesos each way.
The staff for the guest services also have very limited English so we ordered the taxi several times and found out it wasn’t ordered.
Also the hotel staff texted us on WhatsApp several times on WhatsApp in Spanish and we have been quite clear at the beginning we do not understand Spanish.
Other than the stuff mentioned above, other staff are helpful and nice. But definitely overpriced for what it is.

The luxury of Oaxaca is available to everyone.

Since you arrive the attention is amazing, visually it is impressive, the rooms are beautiful, the restaurant is delicious , the chocolate and white chilaquiles are supreme and the mezcal of the house is great.

BEST STAY IN OAXACA

From the best I have stayed, it has top services, the hospitality of the staff is unique, the room is spacious and all top, I loved the copper tub and the view that has the terrace of the room wow. Something I loved is the food of the 2 Restaurant (1 is Mediterranean: delicious bread is made at home, its mezcal and beer are also from the same owners of the hotel and the other Restaurant is Oaxaqueño completely, it is traditional smoke kitchen the kitchen is outdoors and you can see the whole process )
- I loved that the staff everything solves you (if you want reservation in Restaurants, if you want to order massage, if you need to schedule a tour ) very friendly staff and eager to help!
- Safe and very nice area 15 min from the center
