Very good

I hired a day pass alone, very hippie chic, good music, the grilled octopus a little spicy, very good attention from the beach club guys especially Cristian who was the one who attended me and the guard boy at the Armando door. I asked him where to take the bus to the road to Playa del Carmen, he pointed me to the place and showed me a picture of the bus that have a red strip ahead for better visualization; because I was a little lost with the variety they passed. While waiting I noticed that two girls from the hotel were passing them to look for a bus through the door, well for the company

Nope - find somewhere better

My main criticism of this hotel is the misrepresentation of the room types. We stayed in a junior oceanfront suite - just so you know - only the master suites and beach houses are actually oceanfront. The junior suites are set behind them so yes you have an oceanfront but the other rooms types are in front of you! Also the rooms are dark and dingy, What makes it a suite? Who knows, maybe the bench at the end of the bed. The real joke is the 'spacious bathroom' - honestly it was the smallest and most unprivate bathroom ever. A sink behind the bed and then one door leading to the toilet ( which barely flushed, had no ventilation or AC) and the other to a tiny shower ( no water pressure). I suppose as the room was so small you could say the bathroom was spacious in comparison ?! We booked another one of these for our kids with 2 beds. They didn't bother to do that. Their room ( 15) had enough rooms on the 'spacious outside deck' for exactly 2 chairs and a table. Everything is quite old and stained.
Also a massive annoyance - no fridge or minibar or kettle or coffee machine.
Our arrival was met with a lukewarm reception - very organised but not exactly warm or friendly. The common areas were nice to sit in and the waitress in the restaurant was always lovely and smiley.
Not their fault obviously but the sea is unswimable due to seaweed in June - but the pool is tiny. I only saw pictures being taken there.

Zen paradise, top-notch team

Heavenly hotel, zen atmosphere, typical bungalow, and impeccably clean rooms. Delicious restaurant. Thank you to Sergio, Yasmine, and the entire team for their kindness and excellent service. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful attention of the staff who always called us by our first names. Hotel with some drawbacks

Beautiful little boutique hotel with some minor drawbacks.

Rooms and bungalows are clean and functionally furnished.
We had room 19, which is perfectly fine for adults, but not suitable if children are present. Nice semi-open bathroom. Unfortunately, the shower does not have a fall protection feature. A bit more space for luggage would be nice.

Service is very attentive and friendly, but they also explain what kind of tip they expect.

A major point of criticism for us is the presence of dogs. We are generally very fond of animals. One or two dogs seem to belong to the hotel, which is fine. However, when you sit at breakfast and see five dogs belonging to guests without even looking for them, it is quite excessive. Dogs drink from the pool, are not kept on leashes by their owners, and relieve themselves in the sand. This is unfortunate, as this hotel really has a lot of potential.

Breakfast was very delicious and sufficient. Coffee is refilled once for free. Especially the Mexican breakfast and grapefruit juice are great.

As a small recommendation,
download the InDrive app. What the taxi drivers here do to tourists is pure exploitation. We would have been grateful if we had received this tip from the hotel.
We paid 2600 Mexican pesos for a transport organized by the hotel to an excursion provider. We paid in dollars. It only cost 150 Mexican pesos through the app. It is unfortunate that this scheme is supported by the hotel.
Very nice hosts – absolutely recommendable.
