Excellent value and location

The property is right on the main coastal highway, so traffic noise is audible but not problematic. Basically white noise. The restaurant (Arrecife Maya (Nuevo Arrecife)) has indoor and outdoor seating, although evening mosquitos caused us to move inside, despite a nice breeze. Guest rooms overlook a grassy courtyard area, with ample seating and a small swimming pool. Dinner highlights were the guacamole and ceviche, as well as a delicious cabbage salad. Service was friendly, casual, and leisurely. Breakfast was delicious, with a choice of eggs any style, pancakes, or yogurt and fruit. My mushroom omelet came with perfectly cooked black beans and excellent whole wheat toast; good, strong coffee too. Restaurant staff (Daniel and Abraham) are friendly and helpful, especially Abraham, who loves practicing his excellent English.
Area for improvement: Our room needed better drainage in the sink, and they should have drinking water in the rooms.

Shady and deceitful.

My girlfriend and I booked a 5-night-stay via booking.com. Though we enjoyed the clean room and the good breakfast, we felt very disturbed by the highway close by and the car noises. We decided to leave after two nights, the managenent told us it would not be a problem to get a refund for the nights we did not stay there. Not only did we never receive any refund for the other three nights but they also ignored our messages in English and Spanish for more than half a year. They also charged us TWICE for our stay. At least we got that money back with help from booking.com and our credit-card institute. All in all they cost us a lot of money and headaches. We strongly advise you to stay clear of Hacienda Dos Ojos.

Delicious food!

We stopped by the restaurant on our way back from Taak Bi Ha based on a recommendation from our tour guide. The ceviche and shrimp tacos were amazing. They were served with a delicious garlic sauce and a spicy habanero salsa.

Very comfortable stay

We are a family of 4 with 2 small kids and we spend around a week on this hotel and we are very happy with it.
It is located right next to the best cenotes on the area and it is quite easy to find.
Room are quite clean and spacious, beds are comfortable. Tv has cable and there is quite good space to store all your clothes.
Breakfast is yummy but simple, You can choose between 5 options and all include a juice or a coffee. Service is quite good, Daniel gave us a lot of tips for us to walk around the area. They were also kind enough to do laundry for us and the cleaning lady came and explained me the process to ensure no clothes loose their color on the process.
Our kids loved the small pool, just make sure if you go at night use repellent as the mosquitos go around the pool at that time .
We will come back !

Very nice hotel with the best staff ever

We spent here several nights. Hotel is near main road Playa appx 15 km before Tulum
Clean rooms, small pool, very good food(specially Ceviche), and what is the best there STAFF. Very helpfull & kind. Thanks to Mr. Matias Garcia for all of that. Deninately I will visit again
