Perfect Stay with Incredible Sunset Views
We had an amazing stay at Layla Hotel! The atmosphere is beautiful, with a relaxing Mediterranean vibe that makes you feel like you’re on a luxury getaway. The rooftop pool is definitely one of the best in downtown Tulum, especially at sunset—the views are absolutely stunning.
The food and drinks were excellent. The hummus was fresh and delicious, and every cocktail we tried was perfectly made. On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed.
If you’re looking for a stylish hotel with great food, amazing sunset views, and exceptional service, Layla is the perfect place to stay.

The best rooftop in Tulum to watch the sunset.
This boutique hotel located in the center of Tulum, with Moroccan-style architecture, is the best spot to enjoy beautiful sunsets from its rooftop! There we also found a restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine and an infinity pool. Downstairs next to the lobby, there is a smaller restaurant and pool, along with an impressive mural made of ceramic pieces depicting an Arab woman. Excellent service, delicious food, and well-prepared drinks! I loved it!

I had an amazing stay at Layla Tulum Boutique Hotel and honestly couldn’t recommend it enough. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of. The hotel has a beautiful boutique atmosphere, a great location, and the perfect Tulum vibe.
What truly made my stay special, though, was the staff. A huge thank you to Ani, Beamar, and Cat for their incredible hospitality, kindness, and positive energy. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying every moment of my stay. Their warmth and attention to detail really made me feel at home.
It’s not often that you come across a team that makes you remember a hotel because of the people rather than just the place and that’s exactly what happened here.
If you’re visiting Tulum and looking for a charming boutique hotel with a great atmosphere and genuinely wonderful people, Layla is definitely a place I would recommend.

Just about okay
The hotel rooms were nice, the Moroccan themed property is pretty cute and the location is very convenient; however, rooms were rather small, though with a pretty good bathroom.
They had breakfast included but that was very poor quality food and didn’t seem very fresh. Price was ok, but not very economical, given the overall quality of the place.
All in all, I would say this hotel is just about ok .., I am sure you can find better places.
