Good hotel option in Avandaro
The hotel is very family friendly, clean with heated pool. the kids club has several leisure activities. Clean and comfortable rooms.

visited for 1 quick night the hotel, been there before but this time the service and help from the front desk was not helpfull
After checking out realized left my jacket, so called back to the hotel and they said they will call back. never happened so call again after 2 hours and they mentioned that they forgot to call me back but didnt find anything. it is clear they stole the jacket but they said will review the videos but after 2 days still they dont call back

A Solid Choice for a Trip with Friends
Hotel Avándaro is a good option, and it also works well for a getaway with friends. The property is very well maintained — it’s not the most modern hotel out there, but it has a charm and quality that hold up nicely over time.
The atmosphere is calm and quiet, which makes sense given that it’s primarily geared toward families. The bar at night is practically empty, so don’t expect a lively scene — but if you’re looking to unwind, that can actually be a plus. The grounds are great for walking, and the food is fresh, healthy, and genuinely enjoyable.
A few things to note: the pool was a bit cold for the season despite being heated, and the fitness classes at the gym tend to get crowded, so we ended up going to another hotel for the spa experience. We also had a citywide blackout during our stay, which left us without electricity or Wi-Fi for a while — not the hotel’s fault, but worth mentioning.
On the bright side, the location is excellent — you can walk into the town center easily, which is great for exploring. All in all, a pleasant stay, and I’d happily come back with friends again.

A Wonderful Family Getaway – Highly Recommend!
We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Avándaro and will definitely be coming back. The hotel is impeccably clean and has a warm, welcoming family atmosphere that makes you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. We especially appreciated how pet-friendly the staff were — it’s not always easy to find a place this comfortable for the whole family, four-legged members included.
The restaurants on the property are a real highlight. The food quality is excellent, and the service is attentive and friendly. Every meal felt like a treat. The Wi-Fi connection can be a bit spotty in some areas, but honestly, that turned out to be a blessing — this is a place to unplug, slow down, and enjoy your surroundings.
The pool is always spotless and kept at a perfect heated temperature, so it’s enjoyable year-round. The grounds are beautiful, and one of our favorite things was being able to walk into the village of Avándaro right from the hotel — a lovely stroll through scenic landscapes.
All in all, this is the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again, especially for a weekend escape with the family. Highly recommended!

BEST OPTION WITH CHILDREN!!!
We love this hotel. It is perfect to go with the family and enjoy many activities.
The pool is beautiful; the tennis courts are beautiful and it is very easy to reserve space. In addition, they have a giant chess where my children played happily, and the sandbox is super cute for children.
The area for playing various ball sports is ideal for many activities. My children carried their mitts and threw baseballs, while other children organized football contests.
The food is very good quality, especially when the buffet offers grilled meat, like Sunday; at that time it is really worth the cost. I also want to make special mention of the quesadillas on the menu, which are delicious.
We loved the cinema at night. I would only suggest offering popcorn refill, as considering the price, it doesn’t make much sense for them not to include it, or to add more food options.
The room is very comfortable: the shower has good pressure, the beds are comfortable and there is plenty of space.
It is a great option to enjoy with the family. We certainly hope to return soon. Congratulations and do not hesitate to visit!
As an important detail, there are many stairs to move around, so I might not recommend it for seniors or those with limited mobility.
Finally, I would suggest improving the refill coffee in the buffet, as it tastes burnt and is not at hotel level. In the rooms they offer complimentary Nespresso coffee, which is much better. The machine coffee in the restaurant is very good, but if you already pay for the buffet, you should not need to spend extra to have a good coffee.
