Great Resort
We go to Mexico every year so have a good feel for resorts.
Zoetry is a beautiful small resort with about 100 rooms. It was around 20% occupied when we were there so it was very quiet and only one restaurant was open in the evening (which was completely fine as we never had a wait).
If you are looking for nightlife our music during the day, this is not the place. If you want a quiet get away where you can sleep, have good food and chill by the pool/beach, this is your place.
Rooms are very nice and large. Can walk to the room from the beach or the walkway.
Food was really good. Usually just one restaurant open each night with a different theme. We liked them all (Italian, Asian, grill) and some were fantastic. The pool restaurant was the highlight of the food. It was always so great.
Service was great. Especially from Jose at the pool and Willian at the pool bar. Jose would set our seats up for us and Willian was making us some great cocktails with Mezcal. You so have to be patient with the service as they are wanting to get you set up and taken care of.
Overall, a great resort. I didn’t give it 5 stars as the beach is not as nice as other resorts I have been too. A little more rocky.

Amazing hotel with outstanding staff and food!
We felt like at home in this hotel, warm and cozy, excellent staff that took care of us all along, and gorgeous food quality and choice. The staff quality, from the bellboys to the receptionists and waiters to the restaurant and spa managers, is second to none. We can’t wait to go back next year!

This was the most miserable ‘vacation’ we could have ever had. The website advertised sushi that was closed every single day. Other restaurants were also closed leaving us with one option. Food was nasty with small portions and always came out cold. The lunch grill was hardly open and was impossible to get food at. We would order room service that would never show up. We went to bed hungry every night.
Even after being generous with tips, the staff was rude and we felt like we were held hostage by them. Scary & unsafe.
We could not wait to get out of this place. Sadly it had made us see Cancun as place we never want to visit again. Run run run from this place! It’s worth the extra $$ to book anywhere else!!!
I was also told someone would be reaching out & im still waiting. I don’t know how they allow people to come here & I don’t know how unlimited vacation club uses this resort. Disappointment all around.

Relaxing, quiet, beautiful vacation!
After doing extensive research on a special place to celebrate our 60th birthdays, we looked at many tropical destinations and were thrilled to discover the the beautiful Zoetry Paradisio de la Bonita in the Rivera Maya. The pictures, reviews and videos all made it look like a perfect place for us to celebrate, and it did not disappoint. With the beautifully appointed rooms, the incredible architecture, the exquisite art throughout the property, the five star food, the impeccable service and tranquil atmosphere on the beach in the Riviera Maya, we definitely found the right place. we would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a chance to escape and get away and relax. This is not a party scene hotel. It is the opposite. If you were looking for peace, quiet and tranquility, you found it.
The property is very close to the airport, and the included shuttle transportation was easy. There was security at the gate and we always felt 100% safe. The staff was gracious and welcoming. We did arrive late and felt like we missed out on what other guests experienced which was a introduction to the property and activities and the welcome gift. We were able to enjoy a late dinner at Kaax that evening at which featured an array of authentic Mexican cuisine.
Our room was on the third floor right on the beach overlooking the ocean. The quality of everything in the room, from the art, the bedding, the window coverings, the bathroom, everything, was top notch. There was large deck, where we spent many evenings, relaxing and enjoying the sun sets.
While they are, we had an opportunity to enjoy their luxurious spa. The massages were amazing as was the Hydro therapy treatment.
The pool was never overcrowded. No need at all to come early and save your place . The cold in the attendance were attentive the pool servers were very attentive, making sure the umbrellas were adjusted just right and your towels were fresh and covering your chairs. Jose and Jesus, in particular were extremely attentive to our needs. Refreshing our drinks often before we even asked, and were friendly and helpful.
We had a chance to participate in some of the wellness activities. in particular, we enjoyed the yoga and sound therapy out at the end of the dock in an incredible setting listening to the waves and the birds. Dulce was fantastic! Love love love her!
There are lots of activities available. We wish someone had told us to check the app and schedule. We only found out about it after a few days there.
The food. Just wow. So good. Very healthy, fresh and well prepared. Several different restaurants with changing menus. Extremely accommodating to special dietary restrictions and allergies. The servers asked about this at every single meal. The bars were awesome. Victor at the library bar makes excellent cocktails and does a great job making you feel welcome.
We enjoyed ourselves so much we were looking into a return trip after the first of the year, but according to the website, no dates are available until 2034 . I’m not sure what’s going on with that and would appreciate any kind of update as we are very interested in going back hopefully before then.

Nice and quiet!
This was our second time at Zoetry. It has an incredible atmosphere for people who want to get away to a quiet and relaxed destination. It was never crowded or loud. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially pool staff Adriana and Manuel. The food is interesting with great presentation and is all made to order. That said, you're in Mexico so the flavor profiles are different so be ready for that. My wife struggled to find something she liked for the first two days, while I enjoyed trying things I have never had before. The only downside is the property has aged a little since we went last stayed 7 years ago. Our room leaked in two places when we had a solid rain not a big deal, but not ideal. We didn't go there to spend a lot of time in the room.
