Small but perfectly formed, feels like a miniature luxury resort. You won't be disappointed.

Super little hotel. Wonderfully clean and well maintained with very friendly staff (and resident dogs). Rooms were bright comfortable and very clean. Breakfast is in an air-conditioned lounge overlooking the pool
Perfect for stop travelling between Uxmal & Bacalar.
Would recommend booking directly with the hotel for the best rate, you won't be disappointed. (i'm quite picky about my hotels, and this really is wonderful value for money)

This is a excellent, clean, and modern hotel with kind and helpful staff. However I had a major issue with booking on Expedia! Once I confirmed the booking (pay upon arrival) the hotel messaged me and demanded I issue them a 50% deposit outside of the Expedia app in order to hold the booking for me if I arrived any later then the 3PM check-in time. This is highly irregular behavior and totally unprofessional. I have never had any other hotel do this anywhere in the world.

For one night before visiting Uxmal

My opinion is mixed about this property. We stopped there to cut the road with the little one before continuing to Uxmal.
An average welcome, no explanation and we were just given the key.
The room was good, basic. Clean. Shower okay. Wipes available. No soundproofing of the rooms so I had to ask our neighbors to turn down the sound of their TV at 11pm. Then woke up again at midnight by the noise and then at 2am by the dogs...
Fresh and slightly cloudy pool.
Breakfast really not good! Just toast, jam, coffee and a bad orange juice.
When I asked if I could have cheese, I was told no.
I realized later that you could order other things but in addition. Again no explanations...
So I would say that for 37€, if you want to cut the road coming from Bacalar with your children, well it is a decent and cheap stop but we do not expect great comfort.

Good option for Tekax

Very good towels. Nice small pool area but needs chairs. Nice resident dog. AC in rooms worked well. Basic but nice breakfast. The town of Tekax is magical at night during holiday season so worth a night stay. I didn't see any place better to stay in town. Very hard mattresses and no lighting near the beds.

For the next trip

Very nice place, an area of opportunity would be the facilities of their bathrooms (showers specifically) and also provide inputs (at cost obviously) to diners, such as a 24hrs store open. The cafe area is fine, but it could be improved.
