Ok

Hotel located in the city center close to shops, restaurants, parks and tourist attractions.
The hotel's restaurant is its strong point.
Georgian restaurant with very good food.
Unfortunately, the hotel is far below the level of the restaurant and the four stars.
More attention to cleanliness would be necessary, as well as respecting reservations (I was assigned another room).
For a short stay it's ok considering that there aren't many offers in the city.

Close to town centre

We stayed at this property as part of a group tour.
We had a very big room upstairs, the bed was comfy, aircon efficient and the room was quiet. The bathroom was very big, however, there was no bench space in the bathroom and had a small shower. Wi-fi was very good. There was also a small refrigerator in the room.
If eating in town, be patient because the service is very slow - we were warned of this. Also, English is not widely spoken in this town.

Hard Working

I stayed 1 night at the Altin Palace during a trip through Moldova. This is not your usual hotel. Firstly, the very hard working manager is everywhere. She checked us in, carried my heavy bag up the stairs, helped to serve at breakfast and generally worked her pants off. She was also charmingly smily and in spite of the language barrier did her best to understand and be understood.
The reception area is tiny and there is no lift. Fortunately, I was on the 1st floor so bags only had to go up one set of stairs. The hotel seems old fashioned in a good way.
The hotel has of rooms of different shapes, sizes and decor and I can only comment of mine. It was huge for an undivided room with queen bed, desk, 2 dining-type chairs, small table, fridge, arm chair, luggage stand and still enough room left over to hold a reasonable size party. There was also a safe but no kettle. The standalone, remote controlled A/C unit worked well. The windows stretched right along one wall providing heaps of light. The bathroom was also very big running along the whole side of the bedroom. It looked bigger still with just a shower at the far end end. Everything was spotless and in really good repair.
The free in room wifi worked well with a strong, stable signal.
There is a sort of terrace restaurant out the front and also a downstairs dining room with startlingly modern decoration. We had breakfast consisting of an adequate set menu (omelette, yoghurt, bread with cheese and salami, tea/coffee - real not instant) in the dining room.
Overall the Altin Palace is a treat and while it is unlikely that I will ever be back in Gagauzia I wouldn't hesitate to return for another stay.

Fun hotel

Rooms are all different- we had 12 staying so got to see many of the rooms- all unique and a bit of fun. Rooms were spacious and clean. Warm bedding provided. Service was a little lacking.... but it adds to the charm of the place! Nice outdoor seating area to relax or have a drink. wifi intermittent! Breakfast menu was good...
Room 201 is a corner suite with two beds, smallest room of our group, 202 had three very pink beds and interesting artworks, 203/204 were double rooms darkly decorated. Saw a few rooms downstairs too- all different. Beds were very comfy and room had air conditioning too.
Walking distance to everything- Andy's Pizza was good, supermarket nearby is great- does currency exchange too!

Interesting rooms

We stayed here with a bigger group. The hotel staff were friendly and obviously very proud of their hotel. The breakfast was good. We had omelettes which we ordered the night before and were freshly made for us in the morning. Each of the rooms had a different decor. Quite interesting. There is no lift so if you are on the second floor you need to carry your luggage up. Comfortable beds. Very clean.
