Four Season Guesthouse cum Mongolia short tour

From guest house, airport pick up till tours arrangement the manager in charge give us a top notch services. Simple breakfast from guesthouse, jam, yummy bread, butter and guesthouse was located in good city location , furthermore, the lady tour guide was awesome and speak good English. Highly recommended.

basic option with cheap airport taxi

This is a converted apartment with a few rooms (so a guesthouse) not a full hostel.
Top marks for $20k for airport cab. Used them on return even though at different hostel. They got me a cab at 3:30am and a staff person waited at hostel to sort everything out.
No one was around otherwise. Thankfully another visitor exchanged a little cash for me. Living room with couches, etc.
Breakfast is basic, just toast and jam. Bathroom is basic and plain.
Not much nearby (one convenience store) but you're on the bus lines to the bus station and city center.

Best in ulaanbaatar

The rooms were clean, very comfortable and the owner Mr. Toroo amazing and very helpful person .He went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The price was amazing. There were great restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend this Four seasons Guesthouse for anyone visiting downtown

Affordable

Friendly service, room had a desk, and Wi-Fi was fast, bed was comfortable enough and location was perfect, near the centre of the city. Good affordable property for rent, no real complaints...
Only real negative was that the room was small, but for the price its ok.

Homebase in UB

I stayed in this guesthouse a total of 7 nights in as it was my homebase in UB, in between trips. Great location (close to the the city core, services like bank, public bus system, etc.) and very helpful and friendly host/owner. It felt like an apartment home because there is a kitchen and I was able to just relax, so I was able to cook meals easily. Reasonable costs. I am a solo traveler and stayed in the dorm.
