Summer in Budva
It is a lovely palce on the beach. We had a see view room, very comfortable, quiet, very big bed. Also breakfast and dinner included, very tasty. Kind staff, clean and cozy. Parkplace available. You will have everythink you need for your stay. We will come back again definitly.

Wonderful hotel
Wonderful stay. Would like to thank all the friendly staff for making our stay memorable. Particularly the lady who was Duty Manager on Monday night and the gentleman who put the football on in the lounge just for us, plus served us drinks! Our room was cleaned immaculately during our stay too. The breakfast was perfect and served by friendly efficient staff. Can’t praise this hotel enough. Well done to the management team and staff at Katamare, u r the best.

Our Home by the Sea – Hotel Katamare
Since Hotel Katamare opened, we have returned every single year. It has truly become our home by the sea.
The rooms are modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, and the hotel's location right next to the beach is simply perfect. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation is just a few steps away.
What really makes Katamare special, however, is its people. From the friendly reception team to the restaurant staff, everyone makes you feel genuinely welcome. A special thank you goes to our favorite waiters, Elid and Dušan, whose kindness, professionalism, and warm attitude make every meal even more enjoyable. We would also like to recognize the housekeeping team, who keep the rooms spotless every day and always greet guests with a smile and a kind word.
The hotel's private beach, which has been expanded this year, is beautifully organized, spacious, and very well maintained. We would especially like to thank Petar, who takes exceptional care of both the beach and the guests. His dedication, attention to detail, and genuine desire to make sure everyone enjoys their time make a real difference.

Great stay
We stayed 15-22 September 2025.
Great relaxing beach holiday.
I would recommend room 202. Only one room to the left no one to the right so quiet, lovely balcony, you do overlook the car park but so what.
We paid for a premium sea view room, definitely worth it; more room, higher spec, huge bed and extremely comfortable. Powerful shower. Air con, safe, plenty of storage. Noise minimal sleep very good.
As easyJet warned us, the road from Tivat airport very busy and dirty from construction. But just need to allow more time. Airport a little chaotic, only small duty free.
Staff perfectly polite. Food good. Sometimes a queue for coffee machine and needed to ask for knife and forks sometimes.
Nice promenade to walk along at night time, few souvenir shops and loads of bars and restaurants. We went half board at the hotel.
We loved the beach 2 minute walk away and spent a lot of time there. All sun beds and parasol included. It’s a private beach. Some work going on at a next door hotel but didn’t disturb us.
The hotel does have a swimming pool and it was never overcrowded all the time we were there as well as a roof top bar and smaller pool.
We went to Budva twice walking there and back along the promenade, which took a good hour. Easy enough to find entrance to short cut tunnel behind Bellevue hotel.
Budva lovely. We enjoyed the hotel so much we didn’t go anywhere else, but I believe it’s easy to get a bus to Kotor or neighbouring towns along the coast.
All in all lovely and relaxing break.

Nice Hotel, Disappointing Guest Handling
The hotel itself is nice, clean, and well located, which makes this review disappointing to write.
Late in the evening, I contacted reception with a very normal guest request — asking for an extra blanket.
I was first told that housekeeping had already left and that I should call again in the morning. When I insisted that an extra blanket at night is a basic guest need and asked whether reception could assist, the response I received was: “I’m reception, not housekeeping.”
What disappointed me was not the blanket itself, but the complete lack of ownership, willingness to help, and service-oriented communication.
The following morning, housekeeping also disturbed the room very early due to a room mix-up. The staff member later apologized, which I appreciated.
However, after these incidents, I specifically asked reception if the manager could speak with me before my departure. Nobody followed up, nobody contacted me, and nobody even asked what had happened.
Mistakes happen in every hotel. But professionalism is reflected in how staff communicate with guests and handle simple problems. Unfortunately, that part of the experience was very disappointing.
